How to enter

1. All you have to do for a chance of winning is upload a video of yourself demonstrating how to cook your favourite, simple recipe using a Freedom Food-labelled ingredient (and a Fairtrade-labelled ingredient if you can).
2. Remember – it’s very important that you tell us in your video why farm animal welfare matters to you. The judges will be looking for cooks who care about the animals and people that help produce our food by using ingredients with the Freedom Food and the Fairtrade Foundation labels.
3. Videos must not be longer than five minutes or larger than 500MB.
4. There is no limit on the number of times you may enter, however you may not enter the same video more than once. This competition is moderated and it may take up to 72 hours for videos to be published.

Entrants must use a Freedom Food labelled ingredient. Entrants must show proof in their entry video that they are using a Freedom Food labelled ingredient.

1. First prize is a year’s shopping for a family of four at Sainsbury’s worth £4,000 and will be awarded to the Judges’ Winner as decided by the judges. This will be in the form of Sainsbury’s gift cards. The People’s Winner and Junior Winner will each receive a prize of £500 in Sainsbury’s gift cards. There is no cash alternative. The Junior Winner category is open to entrants aged between six and 16 years old.
2. There is no limit on the number of times you may enter. However, you may not enter the same video more than once.
3. The Promoter will select from the eligible entries up to five finalists for both the Judges’ Winner and Junior Winner categories. The Judges’ Winner and Junior Winner will be selected from the finalists by a panel of independent judges. Entries will be judged on the flair of the presenter or presenters and how entertaining they are, followed by the simplicity, quality and presentation of their cooking or baking.
4. The People’s Winner prize will go to the eligible entry with the highest number of valid online votes.
5. The use of vote swapping websites is prohibited and where there is evidence of such websites being used by an entrant the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify their entry/entries.
