    Could anyone with a copy of the paper please provide further details of the Daily Mirror £5 off £40 at Tesco voucher, please?

    Don't have the paper but the wording on the front page above actually says Spend £40, and get £5 off your next £40 spend - which, as comments on hduk confirm, suggests the offer is really £5 off an overall £80 spend.

    Worse than that it seems it's not even a Daily Mirror promo! They're just telling readers Tesco have re-introduced the spend £40 get £5 off next £40 promo to, er, everyone (nothing to do with the Mirror)... Here's a quote from their website here.
    We have some great news for you because Tesco is bringing back its "£5 off your next shop" campaign. When you spend £40 or more in store, Tesco will give you a voucher to claim £5 off your next £40 shop, which you can use in store or online.

    The only thing buying the Mirror adds is entry to a draw for vouchers. So the front page splash seems a bit of a con.

    Very well spotted - thanks. I've amended the original post. It's a total con - obviously the Mirror are copying Tesco deceit tactics!
