Terms & Conditions for the Virgin Atlantic Airways Flight to Boston
1.The prize will consist of one pair of Virgin Atlantic economy class confirmed round trip tickets from London Heathrow to Boston for the named Prize Winner for travel between 31 October 2014 and 31 October 2015 inclusive. Travel or travel costs incurred in journeying to and from airports are not included.
2.Travel is not permitted between 15 December 2014 and 15 January 2015; 24 March and 13 April 2015; 15 July and 15 September 2014.
3.Actual dates of travel will be subject to availability & capacity control at the time of booking. Availability for use of Prize Tickets is limited for each flight. Some flights may already be booked and consequently have no seats available. Popular dates (ie weekends & public holidays) will fill quickly and Virgin Atlantic cannot guarantee availability.
4.The Prize Winner must travel on the same flight and on the same date as their companion. If the prize winner wishes to travel alone, the second ticket will be forfeited.
5.The Prize Tickets are only valid for flights on routes operated by Virgin Atlantic and are non-transferable to any other airline, including any of Virgin Atlantic's codeshare partners and have no cash value.
6.Prize Tickets are valid for flights originating from London Heathrow only.
7.The Prize Winner will be notified by Virgin Atlantic via written notification, confirming details of how to book the prize flights and booking conditions.
8.No Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles will be awarded for travel under this competition.
9.The Prize Winner and their companion will be entirely responsible for their own accommodation, visa, passport and insurance requirements.
10.Passenger taxes, charges, fees and surcharges (the amount of which are subject to change) on the prize tickets are to be paid for by the Prize Winner.
11.The Prize Winner and their companion will abide by and be subject to Virgin Atlantic's published Conditions of Carriage, which are available from any Virgin Atlantic office. Virgin Atlantic flight schedules are subject to change without notice.
12.The Prize Tickets are for travel in economy only.
13.The prize is non-transferable to another family member or any other named person and cannot be sold, bartered or substituted for any other prize.
14. If the prize is not redeemed, no alternative tickets will be issued and no compensation provided.
15.Once a booking has been confirmed no changes are permitted. If a booking is cancelled by you no alternative tickets will be issued and the tickets for that calendar year will be deemed to have been used. For the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.
16.The Prize Tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or promotional fare mounted by Virgin Atlantic or any third party.
17.Once the Prize Tickets have been issued Virgin Atlantic shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Virgin Atlantic.
