Why don't you pick an effort comp and do it really well, maybe a judged Pinterest comp. Some have really good prizes worth £1000 and spend a good hour making a board?

I don't do the click to wins or mag dailies. Occasionally I will enter one or two, but I just don't have the patience for them really.

Aw, don't give up, keep the faith! We all go through dry spells when we feel sure we'll never win anything again. Then, as if by magic the comping fairy pays us a little visit.

If you're still enjoying it - hang on in there!

If you enter all the click to wins then you are entering around 1,400 a day just with those.

With some of the click to wins you have the potential to enter over 2,000 times for one prize - I would rather have one entry into 2,000 different competitions.

I have never ever looked at it like this! I dont enter every single ctw only the ones id like or as someone else has said id like for someone else in the family but blimey thats a lot of entries!

Thank you for making me see it in a different way...

I do the mag dailies and main board they are main priority to me. The mag dailies only takes me 30 mins since i have got the adblock extension on chrome (it skips tick boxes) and i have bookmarked all of the ones i want to enter and put them in one folder. I also try and do a lot of fb and twitter comps if i can and ctws i do if i have any spare time.

I haven't been comping long at all and have won a few things so far from various comps from the main board :)

I hope things take a turn for the best for you soon :)
You never learn anything by doing it right :p

2,000 plus is towards the top end for entries but many of the comps are on at least 5 sites (the 4 big mags plus the main site) so if they are open for a couple of months that's still a potential 300 entries per competition per person and some of them now don't close until the end of January (seen some now that are the 1st of March.)

If you don't already do them I would make time to enter at least some of the instant wins, no waiting around for closing dates and once you have registered they take very little time each day to do.

I think I might knock back on some of the ctw's and have another go at the dailys...

    Thank you...

I've been comping for years (long before the interweb) I've only won a couple of small prizes in all those years but am a great believer in the old saying "If your not in it you can't win it". Best wishes to all and Be Lucky!
