Who the quote is from: Direct Holidays/thomas cook
Is there a booking fee: No we don't think so
The Tour Operator/Airline/Hotel: My Travel
The departure Airport/Post: Glasgow
Holiday Destination : Kuredu Maldives
The Holiday Dates: 30/04/2009-07/05/2009 7 nights
The number of people travelling (inc kids ages): 2 adults
The Hotel (or * if it’s allocate on arrival): Occidental Grand Teguise Playa
The Board (self catering/half board etc): Half board
Is an in-flight meal included: no ,would rather not have.

Presumably you mean Lanzarote? Although if you can get Kuredu Maldives for £250 a head Im coming with you!! :rotfl:

Its a good quote - I cant beat it - although not sure when/where you got it as Tcook/direct hols websites are both showing £522.00.

Also just to let you know you'll need to book it quite quickly as its 2 wks 1day til departure - any booking inside 14days of travel with thomas cook and they'll add a ticket on departure charge of £15pp to the cost so this'll most likely be up to £552 tomorrow/friday

Hi, cheers for that!!! yeah i had both screen up for Direct holidays and Thomas as they are the same company more or less....... just went with Direct and when the breakdown had came up it showed as £482 inc credit card fee!! which was less than i had thought!!

P.S yeah it's Lanzarote!! ha ha ha

To all the travel agents who contacted me and searched for deals on this quote - my fiancee and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU!!!

In the end 'casevlloyds' was able to secure a really competitive deal and so we have finally booked and are on our way to sunny Egypt for a glorious two weeks in June!

Yeah, the £482.00 price is not including transfers - they are £20pp making the £522 total. If you dont take the transfers I think a taxi from Arrecife airport to Costa Teguise is approx 20 euros each way so its swings and roundabouts with the current exchange rate I suppose.

Hi, when i had taken off the extra baggage, meals, transfer it was £500, so not sure it dropped to £482????
