Hi, I had exactly the same problem. I bought a copy of my credit report from Experian for £2 and found the info on that, it should include an account number also if it was in the past six years, I recently got £25.00 back from one of my old lender as they had overcharged me the exit fee after I had written to them.

    I hope this helps.

Most companies are doing the refunds over the phone, give your lender a call, they'll be able to do a search on name/date of birth/post code or something along those lines. Give them a buzz, the worst that will happen is they'll find your account details and tell you where to write to.
