How to Enter

To enter this promotion you must visit velvettissue.com/win500 and enter the last 6 digits of the barcode from your pack.
The first draw will take place at 20:00 on 02/10/2014. All entries received between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59 on 01/10/14 will go into this draw.
Entries for each day are counted between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59. Entries submitted after this time will be entered in to the draw the following day.

Any entries made after 23:59:59 on 31/12/14 and before 23:59:59 on 28/02/2015, or those who didn’t win, will be entered into the Late Entry Draw. The Late Entry Draw will take place at 20:00 on 01/03/2015. Only one entrant per household will be entered into this draw regardless of how many times entered during the promotional period

The Promoter reserves the right to verify all claims and disqualify any entrants where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion including using fraudulent means.
Selecting Winners

Draws will take place at 20:00 the following day during the course of the promotion.
The winner of each draw will be the entrant selected at random from all entries received between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59 the previous day.
Winners will be contacted by email within 24hrs of the draw using the email address provided with their winning entry.
The winner is required to follow a link on the winner email to select voucher type, complete name and postal address details to receive their prize. Please note that Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland winners will not be required to select a voucher type, as they will only be offered Love2shop vouchers.
It is the responsibility of the entrant to check their emails including their spam mail to ascertain whether they have received an email notification regarding the promotion. Velvet are not responsible for the entrant making a late claim on their win as a result of them not being aware that the email was in their spam folder.
If the winner does not claim the prize within 28 days of the date of the draw, or should we subsequently decline to award the prize to them at our sole discretion because they have failed to comply with these terms and conditions, then the prize will go into the late entry draw.
Information may be used by us in any marketing and publicity materials which we may choose to issue (at our discretion) and if requested, the winner will participate in any publicity or other promotional activities as we may reasonably request without any further recompense.
Only one winner per household will be allowed during the course of the promotion.
ROI potential winners will need to answer a qualifying question before win has been confirmed and rewarded. If answered incorrectly, the entrant will be deemed unsuccessful, and the prize will be placed in the late entry draw.

The Prize

There is one prize available to be won each day
UK winners [excluding ROI and NI] will be asked to choose between either the supermarket voucher of which they stated they carried out their normal weekly shop [when entering the competition – consisting of Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Co-op, or Waitrose (in the form of John Lewis voucher)], or a Love2Shop voucher.
ROI and NI winners will be offered Love2Shop vouchers only, to the value of 625 EURO [as per the Bank of England’s exchange rate as of 01.08.14] and £500 respectively.
There is a total prize pool of £46,500 worth of vouchers to be won over the course of 93 draws. This is based upon 92 promotional days plus the final late draw.
Vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
Should the chosen voucher be unavailable, the winner will be offered an alternative of equal value at our sole discretion.

The barcodes won't be unique; they'll be the same for every packet of these all over the UK, so if anyone has bought a packet of these perhaps they'd be so kind as to add the last 6 digits and should anyone win, they can dash off and buy a packet.

After the last Velvet competition a couple of years ago when they seemed to change the rules halfway through, I waited to enter until I'd actually bought the tissues myself and have put the receipt safely away.

They were very strict last time.
