Has This Morning itv stopped doing online entry?

Options
I stopped comping for 6 months after entering so many and not winning anything (I'm guessing due to the huge surge in people entering the last few years) but have returned and can now only see how to enter itv this morning comps by text or postcard. Can I just not find it or have they stopped? Thanks

Yes, postal along with loose women and a few others

(GMB and real deal are web at the moment)
  • What a shame :( guess they lost huge amounts of money with the online option, I always wonder why people entered by text when it's free online.
    Thanks for the reply

I'm guessing by making it a hassle people who want to enter are far more to text in. Just a guess though?

I think that they cut the stamps off & sell them to philatelists.:D

    Some genuine information here.
    & here

The postal route satisfys the requirement for a "free" entry route.

The same way they didn't make money from web entries.

Basically if 100 people enter via the previous web entry of these 15-20 may think ah what the hell I'll have a go via the phone or text. That's 15-20 extra people who have entered even once via payed methods

But they earn revenue from the ads they have on their competition pages and the more hits and clicks they get from people entering online the more they'll earn.

Then there's the fact the entries are collected automatically online via a web script, rather than paying someone to open/read postal entries.

A tiny fraction of a penny earned at best (presumably nothing if adblockers are usable) and easily covered by extra revenue if only 1 in 1,000 paid to enter instead.

  • I am disgusted with ITV for stopping online entries.Don't they make enough money from the people that enter via phone and text.I have entered Dickinsons Real Deal since it first began 11yrs ago.I will not watch it anymore as from today. I have never won anything from my entries but my suspicions have bee confirmed that people who enter online hardly ever win because theirs is a free entry,...My regard for ITV is O
