I can't either
- although I usually purchase in store rather than online:cool:
The terms are here: www.tesco.com/clubcard/help/terms-and-conditions/#clubcard_competitions
Scroll down to Comps/win a Hudl with Hovis
It includes this info: Should you have purchased the product in-store and not wish to enter the prize draw, please call the Clubcard helpline on 0800 591688
It's a freephone so maybe worth contacting the helpline?=^._.^= You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats =^._.^=0 -

I know, it's very annoying - I ended up calling Tesco about another of their 'clubcard purchase' entries and TBH I didn't come away with any more info than is in the terms section on their website (see post#1). Basically (or so I was told by the person I spoke to) Tesco clubcard don't run these comps but the 'marketing' branch of Tesco are the ones that organise these promotions...but of course I couldn't 'speak' to anyone on their marketing side!
Basically, you buy the product in-store or online and use your clubcard during the purchase process and that is your entry. I have just the once actually seen an 'entry' form on their website, but not for this promotion. So they do exist but maybe it's a case of the left hand (marketing) [not]telling the right hand (website gurus) what to do!
So all we can really do is 'trust' that these entries are being logged and if you are selected as a winner then you will be contacted.
My view is, if the item is either one I'd buy anyway, or don't mind buying as a one-off then I don't mind.
Just to add, unless we have someone post on this board that they have won from one of these promotions then we'll never know how authentic they are (probably best not to mention Tesco's recent £250m Profit Error or their expensive/unused planes fiasco recently - makes you wonder if they can even afford to finance these giveaways!!:eek: :rotfl:)
Sorry I can't shed more light on this but at least it's an answer of sorts!
