Hello
Does anyone have any experience of CardOne banking or business bank accounts?
As a discharged bankrupt ( 2 yrs +) I cannot find ANYWHERE that will give me a business bank account.
Advice appreciated, thank you.

Have you spoke to natwest? I have seen a fair few peeps here managed to set up their "foundation" account for business use
meantime have you had a look at your credit files & seen if everything is as it should be there?? it's difficult but not impossibleNot quite a newbie as you think;) (the member formally known as philnicandamy!)

Barclays is another one that seems to consider BR. You will need to go in and see them, don't do it online.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Thanks for the replies
There are still a few loose ends on my credit history to tie up, even though I've been chasing for a few years. Santander told me today I wouldn't be able to get an account anywhere, even though it is just an old overdraft that isn't showing as settled.
I've read about the Card One and Cash Plus business accounts but I don't know how reliable they are.0 -
Nothing wrong with Card One have recommended them to many clients and have had no negative feed back. They do charge a monthly fee though - but if you can't get an account elsewhere??? Also if you pay cash in to your Card One Account at Barclay's it can take 8 days before you can draw on it. Nothing is perfect though!!0

I can't comment on CardOne but I have the RBS foundation account which gives free banking for 2 years, it's pretty much the same as Natwest (part of the same group) but I've had no problems and as said before speak to them face to face rather than submitting an online application.
