RANT Liked and Shared

Options
Getting increasingly annoyed with compers on Facebook writing liked and shared on Facebook competition posts which have not asked them to do that at all !
Just entered one that asked people to comment.. no mention of sharing at all and about 50% of the entrants have written "Liked and shared"
Is this just lack of inspiration or just plain laziness ?

I think people just do it automatcally now! I don't - I only share if it is required as I don't want to risk my account being suspended!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
  • Agreed! I never know what to put in the "comments" but try and put something decent that may just stand out and fingers crossed for a win ;)
:j Thanx to all who post the comps!!! :j
  • It doesn't bother me.
  • I sometimes post "done" or something along the lines of "what a great prize"then tag a friend.
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:
  • I always liked and shared comps But i add stuff to my comment. I have had many FB wins so it has to work lol. but i see people that just put L/S
    Jan Wins: .
  • I do it as in my experience, the page owner can then tag you in the comments reply bit if you win. Makes it easier for people like me who don't remember the FB comps they enter!

I have won a few prizes this way, and lost a few when I didn't do it (because I missed they announcement on their regular posts), so I shall keep doing it! :)
I just enter and forget...hoping to win something! :)

    I won, I won, I won!
I thought it was against Facebook rules to be told to share as a condition of entering so I never share. I do not want to upset Facebook. When I first started comping I shared when told to do so before I knew the rules and lost Facebook friends so it is not worth it for me. I wish everyone who posts these comps could put it requires sharing so I can skip them. Some OPs are very good at doing this already.

Do you just write that or do you actually share even if it's not required ?
If they ask for a comment do you reply ?
I do share comps if they ask but have had captchas several times when I have shared, so try to avoid it when not necessary.
A few friends have has short term bans for sharing too much.
  • the other thing that annoys me when asked to comment are those that tag about 10 friends - does that increase your chance of winning?
