The winner and a guest will spend three nights, on a B&B basis, in a luxury suite at Llangoed Hall — the Sunday Times country hotel of the year, as well as the AA’s hotel of the year for 2013-14. Set in 17 acres in the Wye Valley, it has elegant, understated decor, and the walls are hung with an exceptional collection of 19th-and early-20th-century art. Nick Brodie, the head chef, draws heavily on the hotel’s own kitchen garden and orchard. Included in the prize are a tasting-menu dinner, a three-course dinner (excluding drinks) and an afternoon tea, all for two.
Llangoed Hall is offering an Autumn Gold package: doubles from £300, half-board, with afternoon tea. For more details, or to book, call 01874 754525 or visit llangoedhall.co.uk.
The prize must be taken before May 1, 2015, subject to availability and excluding public holidays and February 14.

Thanks, weeowens, for posting the Where Was I comp and your answers. I'm on holiday in Greece for a couple of weeks. Internet connection has been rather sporadic and posting using an older Kindle is a bit of faff! I'd have said the island is Mainland (Birsay is only part of it) and the lighthouse, located on Carlin Skerry, appears to be referred to as Barrel of Butter.0

No problem at all.
To my shame I was a bit busy in the last few days & have not double checked my stolen answers.
Thanks for your help & continued posting of this series of comps.0
