First time I have ever entered a premium rate phone competition, will be moaning when the bill comes in if I haven't won.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Do you have any idea how many entries these ITV comps receive ?

Little more on the phone entries (text is the same deal)
Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). Thereafter, with each subsequent entry from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. This can be repeated to reach the thirty seven (37) entries per phone number limit.
(The overriding limit per entry route is 39)

    I meant in total.
I've been searching but all I could find was this old thread.

I wasn't actually replying to your post but here is some entry info
During a four year period from 2003 to 2007 GMTV received 62 million competition entries, that's equal to 15.5 million a year, almost 300,000 a week or over 42,500 a day

ITV's interactive revenues, primarily raised from competitions and phone voting around ITV1 programmes, were £30 million in 2009 (2008: £34 million). There were almost 100 million viewer interactions, entries to competitions and votes across the year. The X Factor final alone generated over 10 million votes, up 28% year-on-year.

    More recently

In the 6 months to June 2014
Online, Pay & Interactive performed strongly, up 20%

Raising the number of entries per phone number from 6 to 37 will probably make up for some of the drop in free entries caused by the switch from web to postal.

(The comp provider only gets a part of the total call cost, with BT standard terms at best it's 2/3rds of the cost)
Call Cost 25p fixed rate amount received 14.10p
    75p fixed rate 43.92p
    30p minute 15p
    65p minute 38.76p
    100p minute 66p
    150p minute 100.98p

    Thank for posting
Wording for postal entries has changed "postal entry is open for at least 3 days" does that mean for 3 days after programme is on?
It used to say 3 days after phone entries had closed

From the T&Cs - i will add this to the OP, but wont change the end date, just in case people try phoning or texting after that entry route has closed.

Thanks comping cat, sorry I should have looked at t&cs myself

It does look as though they are trying to make it as confusing as possible for those doing postal entries.

Post entry– send your entry on a postcard or on or within an envelope to LWN 38, PO Box 7558, Derby, DE1 0NQ. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted
