1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
Entry is only open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man aged 18 and over. Directors, management and employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or agencies or companies professionally associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
During the Promotion Period there are two separate phases:
Main Promotion: will begin at 00.01 on 18th August 2014 (“Opening Date”) and close at 23.59 on 31st December 2014 (“Main Promotion Closing Date”).
Final Draw: will begin at 00.01 on 1st January 2015 and close at 23.59 on 31st August 2015. (“Final Draw Closing Date”).
Purchase is not necessary; however internet access will be required. A printer may also be necessary.

Entrants will instantly know whether they are a winner of an Instant Win Prize (see clause 7) and may also opt in to enter the Main Prize. Due to the nature of the Main Prize, entrants should only opt in to enter the Main Prize if they have a full clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year, no unspent criminal convictions, have never had insurance refused, cancelled, voided, or special terms imposed on any insurance policy, and have no pre-existing serious medical conditions.

Winners will be notified immediately via the website and will need to follow the instructions shown onscreen. Upon revealing whether you are a winner of an Instant Win Prize or not, you may also choose to enter the Main Promotion Prize Draw. In doing so, you must complete a short form which declares that in the event that you win, you and your guest meet the minimum criteria as set out in clause 5.
Main Promotion: Prize Draw – There is 1 main prize available at the end of the Promotional Period of a Cadbury branded Banger car and entry for them and their nominated guest into the Lille to Barcelona Wacky Rally trip from 2nd July 2015 to 6th July 2015. The prize includes:
Standard class rail travel for the winner and guest from the UK mainland station nearest to the winner’s home address to St. Pancras International railway station unless the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands, in which case, the prize will include single economy class flights to a London airport and standard class rail travel from the London airport of arrival to St. Pancras International railway station. Prize does not include any travel costs incurred between the winner’s home address and nearest station;
Standard Eurostar travel from London to Lille for the winner and their guest;
Hire of a banger car (a road worthy branded vehicle) with car manual and EU safety kit; entry fees for the 2015 Barmy to Barcelona;
fully comprehensive travel and motor insurance, including roadside assistance;
MOT;road tax (for 6 months);
hotel accommodation along the prescribed route;
a support vehicle in the event of problems along the route driven by the Promoter; £600 spending money to cover expenses/incidentals;
sufficient fuel to complete the trip; and
Single economy flights for the winner and guest from Barcelona, Spain to a UK airport of the Promoter’s choice and standard class rail travel from the airport of arrival to the UK mainland station nearest to the winner’s home address or to station nearest to the winner’s home address where the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands. Prize does not include any travel costs incurred between the winner’s home address and nearest station.
At the end of the Barmy to Barcelona, the winner has the choice of keeping the car by having it taken back to the UK and being stripped of the Cadbury branding, OR having the car scrapped and receiving two extra nights in a hotel in Barcelona. See clause 15 for additional Main Prize details. By agreeing to participate in the Main Promotion Prize Draw, the winner and their nominated guest must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability and agree and accept the rules of Wacky Rally (“Barmy to Barcelona”). Specifically the winner and nominated guest agree that whilst participating in the Barmy to Barcelona that they are representatives of the Promoter and will not conduct themselves in any way that may bring the Promoter into disrepute
Main Promotion Prize Draw: Winner Selection For your total confidence, the Main Promotion Prize draw will be conducted by PromoVeritas within 5 working days of the Main Promotion close date (see Clause 3) from all valid entries.
Main Promotion Prize Draw: Winner Notification and Prize Acceptance:
Stage 1: Winners will be contacted via email to the email address used to enter the promotion within 5 working days of the draw. If a winner is not contactable or fails to respond to initial winner notification within 14 days of the notification, the prize may be reallocated by the Promoter to a reserve winner selected in the same manner.
Stage 2: Upon accepting the prize, the winner and nominated guest must complete a paper-based, risk assessment form to ensure both meet the minimum requirements including without limitation acceptance by the Promoter’s chosen insurer of both the winner and nominated guest for motor insurance for an insurance premium not exceeding £2,500 including insurance premium tax. During this process, the winner and guest must provide driving licenses to the Promoter and complete a DVLA check. This will be organised and managed by the Promoter at no cost to the winner and/or nominated guest.
Stage 3: The winner and nominated guest must then both complete a Driving Day where they will be assessed by an AA representative and a representative of the Promoter to ensure their safety whilst on the Barmy to Barcelona. The AA representative will provide hints and tip for driving in Europe. This day will be organised on a mutually agreed date between the Promoter and the winner/nominated friend within 4 weeks of initial acceptance. Return transfers and overnight accommodation will be provided if required and expenses to cover subsistence to the value of £60 per person. Identification will be required.
In the event that either the winner or nominated friend do not meet the entry requirements in Clause 3, or fail any of the stages set out in Clause 12, the prize will be awarded to an alternative entrant selected in the same manner. This alternative winner must then follow the same Winner Notification/Prize Acceptance process. Any failed winner applicant and their guest will receive £100 compensation each.
Final Draw: For entrants who entered the Final Draw period, there will be one final draw to win a single prize of £500 (“Final Draw”). The winner will be selected in a random draw, conducted by PromoVeritas, from all valid entries within 7 days of the Final Draw Closing Date (23.59 on 31st August 2015). The winner will be informed by email within 7 days of the draw and will then have 14 days to respond to that email, if the winner fails to respond within this time the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another entrant selected at random from all valid entries selected in the same manner.
Further Main Prize Details:
Travel:
Eurostar departs from London St. Pancras International railway station only and will arrive in Lille, France only;
The winner and their guest must travel together in the car from Lille, France to Barcelona, Spain and return by plane together;
In the event that for whatever reason the winner and guest are unable to complete the Barmy to Barcelona rally in the car provided they will complete the journey in the support car provided by the Promoter;
Airline and Eurostar tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable;
All applicable taxes, fees, charges and surcharges shall be paid by the Promoter;
The winner and their guests must abide by and are subject to the airline’s/Eurostar’s published Conditions of Carriage;
Any amendments made by the winner after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges, which are the responsibility of the winner;
Lounge passes and upgrades are not permitted;
Winner and guest travelling must have a valid passport and any specific visa necessary for travel to the EU and Switzerland;
Flight/train extras are not included in the prize (extras include, but are not limited to, on-board meals and drinks); and
Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the Prize pursuant to these Terms and Conditions including without limitation, travel to and from the UK or Channel Isles airport/railway station of arrival and departure, baggage costs for luggage carried in excess of 20kg, car parking charges, excursions, attractions will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and their guests.
Hotel Conditions:
The prize includes one nights’ hotel accommodation in Lille, four nights’ hotel accommodation along the Barmy to Barcelona route and either one or three nights’ hotel accommodation in Barcelona (see clause 10 above). All accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis based on the winner and guest sharing a twin or double room (subject to availability) plus related room taxes; and
The Winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotels during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.
Ownership of the car:
If requested, ownership of the car will only be transferred to the winner on receipt of all correct and valid documentation from the winner prior to shipping the car back to the UK in accordance with clause 10 above. Such documentation includes, without limitation, a valid insurance cover note to register the car and current driver’s licence. The winner is responsible for insuring the car and all other costs associated with taking up the prize. The winner may choose to register the car in another person’s name subject to receipt of correct and valid documentation for that person.
Travel Insurance:
The prize includes travel insurance covering the winner and guest for the duration of the trip subject to the restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. The full policy wording (including without limitation health restrictions) is available at https://www.planetearthdirect.co.uk/docs/PolicyWording.pdf. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their guest to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover where they would not be covered by this insurance including without limitation for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or nominated guest are aged 74 years or over.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
All winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images in promotional material.
The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any third party products or services.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize (including to any guests), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.
In the event for any reason the prize winners do not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winners and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, by or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
If a winning entry from a draw is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be randomly selected.
The names and counties of residence of the Main Prize and Instant Win Prize winners will be available by sending a SAE to JS4228 Win a Banger Winners List, PO 95, Leigh, Lancs, WN7 1WS for 1 month from 15th January 2015.

Does anyone know what the maximum amount of wins is for one person? I enter this everyday and have won 2 chocolate bars but don't want to push it too far if there is a maximum. Couldn't see anything in the terms.
