SkyRide - try it, it's fab!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to give SkyRide a plug as I went on my first ride with them yesterday (just after it had been thundering!) and had a fab time.
This is an initiative to get people on their bikes more often, with the idea that it's always more fun if you can find someone to ride with you, so there's a great social aspect. And it's totally free! :money:
I'm a novice rider, but have been making a lot of recent progress, so went on one of the 'Steady' 5-mile rides. There weren't many of us, due to the weather, but we were blessed with a sudden burst of warm sunshine just as the ride started that stayed with us.
I actually had to cycle to the location to take part, as I don't drive, so I got a really good workout from this (total 19 miles - woo!!!). But being able to talk to people who knew more about bikes and cycling than me, I picked up some great tips (especially about how to handle bumpy gravel paths!). I also got a nice hi-vis jacket!
Best of all, the views were stunning!
