Global test market redemptions

Hi all,

I am a little confused. I recently joined globaltestmarket and have just tried to redeem some points for a Paypal payment.

I attempted to redeem 363 points for a £10 payment but it says that I have to have a minimum 1000 points to claim any type of payment. Is this correct or am I missing something?

I really can't see the point of offering a 363 point redemption level and then denying me the right to use it. Unless of course you can redeem 363 points of the 1000 on Paypal and the rest on something else.

Am I missing something here? Many thanks for any help.

You have to have the minimum 1000 points to redeem anything. The smaller ones would be for anything over and above that, so if you have 1400 points and didn't want to wait to get to 2000 to redeem the extra.
It is a bit confusing, I agree.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

You have to wait until you can redeem £30 or more. Takes me about 3 months. I do find GTM to be one of the better survey sites, and its worth sticking with them.

Blimey that was quick! Many thanks to you both for your replies.

Looks like I will need to work a bit harder.

    Thanks again

We have only had this redemption option in the last 18 months or so, previously you had to get 1000 market points to claim a cheque based on the current exchange rate, so could be between £30. -£34. and took between 6 and 8 weeks to arrive.
The new rewards were supposed to make it more flexible so you could mix and match amazon. paypal, shop vouchers etc..Agree it is quite confusing though.

Thank you silverfairy. Glad they have changed that and allowed the Paypal option.

Wouldn't want the gamble of when to cash out based on exchange rates although I can't imagine that it would make a huge difference with the amount we earn.

Good that we don't have to go to the bank to cash the cheque as well.
  • if you order amazon vouchers now, are they not sent as evouchers? how long to they take to arrive usually?
i ordered some the other day. points have been deducted from the account but nothing has arrived in my email box.

A week is about standard for the Amazon vouchers, i've had it go as long as 14 days.

  • I received this message today. I ordered £30 paypal a couple of weeks ago and still haven't received it.
