    I think you've read it initially, gotten excited, looked into it more and realised it's a scam, and are inventing a story to stop you doing a humiliating climbdown.

    Whether he originally posted the thread or not is not the point. We all let him know that it would be a scam and that it should help other people not to fall for this scam which always seems too good to be true.
