Cheap Heinz beans at Asda

Afternoon everyone,

Just back from Asda, and they have an offer of buy 2 packs of 4 Heinz baked beans for £3. However, a double discount comes off, and you get all 8 tins for £2. Can't beat 25p for a tin! :p

I would have thought this topic would be more popular. Anyone tried at a different Asda?

Can anyone else confirm this? If I pop down to Asda this afternoon, am I going to get charged £2 or £3 for 8 cans?

I wonder if this works on the microwave Snap Pots too. It's only my other half that eats them in our house so they're much more convenient than wasting half a can (and he enjoys the laziness of bunging it in the microwave)

666, could you not put the remainder of the can in a little sealable tub and pop it in the fridge until next time? Might make a decent saving there. Those little pots are quite expensive.
  • Three small tins of Heinze beans in a pack for £1 in poundland not microwavable ones but just enough for one person if thats any cheaper than what you pay for the little pots (not sure as never had those) ;)
