Last night my gran gave me £40, I was going to get a new coat but was good and have paid it into the bank, I have the new Alliance and leicester account with 8.5% interest - should be using that really.
Been good at work today too, brought in lunch and cereal bars, haven't bought anything - great.
Looking forward to pay day so I can get some payments made.DMP 2021-2024: £30,668 £0 🥳

Things not looking too good this week, already £50 over my overdraft on 2 accounts and £200 on my other account, I need to pay it all back out of my wages at the end of the week, so thats going to mean tight again next month. Made £23 on ebay this week from baby clothes and got £20 from quidco.
MOT due on the 20th, mums day and my parents birthday - cheap pressies this year.
Some good news though, partner has passed his theory test hooray.
:j
Need to keep motivated, had my Garlik credit report - 2 stars, they are still taking into account some payments I missed in 2004 - I thought my report would have improved since then. Just noticed I havent put my loan on the SOA £297 3 PAYMENTS LEFTDMP 2021-2024: £30,668 £0 🥳

Hi natlie
With your Barclaycatd at 29.9% you are only covering the interest, plus having gone over the credit limit on your mint card they will probably withdraw the 0% offer, so those are what you should be concentrating on clearing whenever you have any spare funds. (Plus the overdraft depending on what the rates are). Hopefully once the loan is cleared you will have a bit of spare cash to play with.
Good luck.0 -

for the first time this year everything is paid on time and I have some money in the bank, I do have a few things to buy - mum and dad b'day pressies plus my MOT is due but I have paid an extra £50 off my mint card hooray.
on the down side, called tax credits yesterday to tel them I was now getting vouchers and they told me they still had me registered as self employed from 2005 grrr I am sure I must have told them I was employed, anyway they are reviewing my payments back to 2005 and seeing if they need to adjust my claim- probably meaning that I will owe them. Anyone had a review like this? I wouln't have thought it would change anything as I sent my earnings etc every year on time.

was worried to hear that they are going to put up tax on my car again soon in the budget, fortunately I have about 10 days before I change my car I need to work out what exactly my savings will be from that, probably a fair bit!
Haven't spent any money unnecessarily this year, we are back to internet shoppig to avoid those evil impulse buys, my sister gave me a lovely new coat - she lives with my parents and has no debt - lucky her - she had 30 coats so donated one to me as mine looking old.
Have been offered £30 to have a haircut for a fashion show - will probably do it shes an award winning hairdresser - would cost £40 usually
good news at work, been given some extra responsibility, that usually means more money - but because f the job evaluation process we are going through we my not hear until August boo

YAY I pick up my new car on wednesday, my mum has paid for the car so I owe her £2500 0% for 2 yrs. they gave me £2500 for my car, which apparently needs about £1200 worth of work - dents taken out cam belt, service Mot new brakes. My new car has 6 mths free tax and the insurance is cheaper, petrol will be much cheaper - from a 2ltr engine to a 1.3l plus DF is learning in an auto and this car is semi auto so he wont have to have as many driving lessons saving us £60 a month.
My sister has paid off one of my credit cards, so I am paying her back £80 a month for 2 yrs 0% - its taken the debt out of my name and I am hoping it will change my credit rating a bit.DMP 2021-2024: £30,668 £0 🥳

I have paid over £900 off my MINT card, I am calling them later to reduce my limit, I am going to see what my finances are like after I get paid and may pay the rest off hooray.
My car is saving me a huge amount, I have been off with my girls this week and have done more driving than usual petrol for a week and a half £45 usually spending £70 a week, excellent.
Been doing some old style saving to and have packed my freezer full of homemade frozen mash and homemade soup. Have only bought deals and bogofs in tesco this week.
Mortgage deal changed in feb and had to pay an adjusted amount - only for this month of £523 ouch! will be £416 next month.
on a worse note had an incident of fraudulent behaviour on my acct this week 30 euros paid out in Luxembourg - managed to stop it in time I think.DMP 2021-2024: £30,668 £0 🥳
