TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This competition is open to applicants aged 18 years or over, that are residents within the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland and meet the requirements set out below.
2. Employees of the promoter or any of its group, associate or subsidiary companies, their families and agents and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. This competition will run from 14 March 2014 to 31 March 2014 (the “Promotion Period”).
4. Participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
5. To enter the competition, visit www.facebook.com/ukhomeheroes and enter the personal information requested on the competition entry page and also answer the tie-breaker question in no more than 200 (two hundred) words. You accept that the data you enter shall be used to administer this promotion and promoter shall comply with all relevant data protection legislation when processing such data. No purchase is necessary. Incomplete or late entries and those not in accordance with the application instructions will not be accepted. The promoter cannot accept liability for applications lost, delayed or otherwise not received due to a software or other processing error.
6. During the Promotion Period, the Stanley Black & Decker Selection Panel shall review entries and shall choose 20 entrants to take part. Successful entrants shall be contacted by email or telephone. If the chosen entrants cannot be contacted within 24 hours of having been chosen the promoter reserves the right to contact another entrant. The promoter will not be responsible for any inability to contact entrants.
7. Entrants that are selected will be sent a Black & Decker 18V Lithium- Ion Dustbuster Flexi Hand Vac (model number: PD1800EL) by courier.
8. The entrants shall be entitled to keep the product as a prize provided that they carry out a test of the product they received within 30 days of receiving the product, with clear supporting evidence in text, images or video format, which the promoter will ask the entrant to showcase as a post on the promoter’s facebook page and in any other on-line formats.
9. Once all entrants have supplied reviews and feedback, or 90 days after the promotion period ends (whichever is soonest), the Stanley Black & Decker Selection Panel will choose one entrant to then receive a different Black & Decker product every month for a total of 12 months. The product choice will be at the discretion of the promoter.
10. Any tools or products which are given to the winners as part of this competition are provided for the winners’ personal use. The winners agree that they shall not share the tools or details of the Product Range with any competitors of the promoter, press or other companies.
11. The winners also agree to take part in any related publicity which the promoter wishes to undertake, without recompense. For the avoidance of doubt, this may involve the promoter using statements made by the winners and/or photographs and videos of the winners or undertaking the product reviews. The winners give their consent to use the aforementioned information and their image rights in relation to the promotion of the Product Range in any country and in any media or format (including but, not limited to on the internet). Any copyright in promotional statements, photographs, videos or related media featuring the winner shall to the fullest extent possible be assigned to the promoter.
