    Hi ISOM

Sounds like a good weekend - hope you get the oncall money and don't get called, that'd be nice. And good luck with the moggies - you're probably right about emptying the tray, they seem to hate anything being in there... (terrible pictures forming in my head!) :rotfl:

Morning debt busters! Well have done the hoovering & cleaned up cat poo! Yuck! One of the girls who gets shut in the sitting room overnight because neighbor complains when they play all night...decided that they would object by pooing on the floor! Yum! Any ideas how to stop them doing this would be appreciated! They dont even do it in the same spot...litter tray is clean...
Rest of day will be spent chilling & with mental preparation for work tomorrow! Tapestry is coming on and its this one

For those who may be vaguely interested! Its one of the first (if not the first!) that I've done for me and is a part reminder of a long weekend I spent with my mu & granny in Venice. We all knew when we went that it would be our last trip, which it was as granny died 2 years ago, so it holds very special memories & is a beautiful place aside from that!
Still not got to grips with my new toy but plan to do that at some stage today! Back to work tomorrow which I know will be a struggle after almost 2 weks locked in the house!

    Hey sweetie pie!

I thought I'd pop over to your place and say hi!

The cat poop thing made me grin (I'm ever so sorry! :o )

She's telling you she's not impressed isn't she?

Aww bless her. I'm not sure how you're going to solve that one.

It reminded me of a (kind of) funny story though...

One of my friends used to have a cat called Gloria and when her son was small he never gave that cat a moments peace.

Mostly she handled it by living her life up where he couldn't reach her - on the top of bookcases and wardrobes etc.

But if he actually hurt her, she would go up to his bedroom kick back his duvet... and poo in his bed. :D

Then she'd kick the duvet back over it, and go out the cat flap.

He never learned. He'd jump into bed every time right onto it. :rotfl:

    I loved that cat! :D

I hope your moggie stops expressing her outrage in this smelly way very soon hon.

    Love Jacks xxx :D

    I know. She was fab.

My cat's favourite is to coax me into the kitchen to feed him, by literally leading me there like Lassie :D and then when I open the cupboad where his crunchy food lives he goes and stands in front of the fridge and stares pointedly at it until I get the message that he's smelled something good in there and he blimmin' well wants some! :D

He's not spoiled much huh? :o:D

  • ah Jacks that made me laugh BUT mine do simular things! For example Manu cat (British blue shorthaired like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Shorthair
Chats away (although just read breed profile & normally they dont chat but mine a non stop talker!) and asks to be let out in the morning but this am I told her she had to stay in as literally blowing a gale outside. Went off for a bath, came back & little madam has peed on the floor. Sitting looking at me, not quite poking tongue out but not far off!
Just back from Wiltshire seeing the girls. The little one am and older one pm (3 & 6)...both very different personalities! Both were angels and one just a born actress and the other like her dad. I cracked up as the oldest one was MOST put out by her friends angel wings which overshadowed hers and she spent much of the time trying to get her wings in front again!! Plus if looks could kill!! Hilarious! I went this afternoon with friends husband and people give us very funny looks as we chat easily togeather!! We all had a laugh when we got home...people wondering and one woman said G looked like me which I laughed at & said I wasnt her mum & she actually looks nothing like me (she's tall thin & leggy - like her dad! Unlike me who is 5 ft nowt, chubby & legs like a welshman!) which caused much amusement! Then Liz (best mate) & I went to lunch & had a natter before going off to 2nd ones play with daddy! Fab but long & hot by the end. Then a mad dash home in Friday traffic & a chinese...on call now & no people to rng (I dont go out) so hoping people wil be dashing around Christmas shopping & not having traumas! Will try & do my cards this weekend! Hopefully a nice lie in tomorrow! Al in all a ceapish day & Liz got me lunch so it was just petrlo & bridge! This weekend will be expensive though as much shopping to do but affordable shopping IYKWIM! It will be the first Christmas where I get what I can afford (small but thoghtful being the theme!) with some homemade pressies of jam etc! Much nicer & I feel less phrenetic than I did when I was spending oodles! I am going to put stuff on the CC for the cashbak but will just pay it back...that way the interest is making money in my savings & getting cashback but must keep a tally!

oooh ISOM - make sure you tell us of your successes in your Christmas shopping - it might help us all with ideas :) Some of my best pressies- the first Christmas present I've ever bought my dad (long story) but I have got him a gorgeous steam engine motif pocket watch from ebay, a train rule book from 1936, a couple of steam train postcards and a frame, oh and a steam train calender. He is really into steam trains (used to be a trainspotter lol). But this is a present I am so excited about!

So, anyway, please do share :)

  • Morning all! Well as predicted got a nice lie in! Just done some surveys (a bit behind this week!) and having a change of plan re shopping cos its wet & miserable so will do wilkinsons and sains today (easy parking & under cover!). Luckily not much food as still trying to run the freezer down so I can defrost & pack it with Christmas goodies soon! Monday will now become Christmas shopping day! May make some chutney as loads of jars plus need to find some nice small boxes for small fudge pressies. All in all going to chill, read, moneysave and keep snug in my haven called home! Please say one for my mum who is on the way back from Nepal and flights delayed etc so connecting flight missed & she's wndering how she'll get home! Thank goodness for email & a mum who likes adventure and doesent get fussed when things go wrong - just loves chatting to people whereever she is!! Says shes enjoyng a bed with springs as has been on a hard floor in a nepalise house for 3 months!!
Sea my pressies arent part imaginative this year!! Hopefully my glass making friend will make two glass pressies but am panicking slightly on this one as nt heard from her so emailed last night! Really only doing small bits this year - jam, chocolate fudge (I put it on old style - simple to make & delicious!) andmaybe turkish delight which actually I could do this year! Inregsiged re your dad (ahh family dynamics!! cant live with em, cant shoot em!!) but great thet you are building bridges. I never managed to as my dad died when I was 16 (miracle he lasted that long though!!) and lots left unsaid/unfinished...
