doubt you'll be able to do anything about the cat poo, as its protesting. Mine did it for a while when we moved and i wouldn't let him outside for the first two weeks. Love cats dearly but they can be a pain in the neck!
Can you really not let them out during the night? i guess i'm lucky my neighbour doesn't mind mine, in fact they are often to be found in her house.

Well done on getting you debt figure down it must feel so good and that the struggle has been worth it.
  • aww thanks all! No LT cat leave the cats out as they play at 2am so I can sypmathie with her feeling annoyed as nothin worse than lost sleep!
Good news re dosh as found out today that our backdated pay from April will go into Dec pay packet which will mean an extra 300 ish so will make up for ot gettig any on cal or expenses this month plus the roof is fixed so that 200 that has been waiting can be reallocated! Cats going to vet for jabs & car tax but eases the pressure! Got 3 skirts reasonably priced so can now look ok for work! All good plus the pay rise take me just over 30K so debt to wages now under 100% so a great psycholiogical boost! riend came over to do fireplace (that I got for £5) but cracked it but he'll fix it & do the front door so good there and got to have a cuddle with the baby! Bless shes just had jabs so v. unhappy andher bro was very concened - not bad for a 2 yr old! Hope you're all ok! Thanks for encouragement!

we just found that it's unlikely our payrise will be back dated to when it was due. Blooming government feel they can ignore everyone and do what they like ie ACAS say back date the payrise and they say - don't think we want to. i supose i should be pleased for the payrise, once went 3 years without one.

I'm glad you're is being back dated though, and at least i hadn't already 'spent' the back dated pay.

    Hi there ISOM

Glad to see your good news about the pay rise, and even more about the backdating. Just thinking about your moggy thats ignoring the litter tray - you could dilute some citron essential oil a bit - orange or lemon - with water and spray it on the carpet? Not guaranteed, but they're supposed not to like it. Can't think of anything else, but good luck.

Good news on the payrise, not so good news if the rise is not backdated. Fingers crossed for you x

Good news on the pay rise and that it's back dated
  • Thanks all...my payrise is backdated (UNISON wouldnt be happy otherwise - its renegotiated every 3yrs & they just got away with us not striking so not backdating wouldnt be a good idea or we would have gone on strike - its an agreed timescale so they have to backdate anyway!!). No carpets carma and am going to try & emty litter tray a day early & see if that makes a difference...it may also be that they are missing their mummy...who is still in her little pot downstairs! Long and bad day at work and then evening work so didnt finish work till 9.45! just had a glass of wine & chill so now off to bed. Tomorrow & Mon off. Tomorrow going to my surrogate children (Godchildren) christmas play so will grin like a proud parent & get lots of hugs! Then MOnday for Christmas shopping! On call all weekend so more dosh & a nice weekend catching up & recovering from work! Hugs all!
