I like the new name too - but it is going to take a while to get used to it!

Great about the extra cash :)

Sorry to hear about the nasty comments. I can imagine what some of them were like.

Looking forward to the circle journal starting soon - I'll try to start soon lol as I think it will take me that long to get it all sorted by after Christmas!

  • Hi all, well I'm back and moey in the jar which is good. The boys were good and had a great time giving them tea, playing cars & getting them al clean ad smelling yummy and ready for bed!
I know change of name is unsettling but it many people could recognise me with that user name and really didnt like the nature of some of the comments! Plus I feel the new image is more reflective of the journey!
Friday tomorrow which is good. I have a weekend of not much planned; a jog on Sat am and then general tidy and time at the allotment for some sunny digging I hope!
Also must get on with the CJ but must get on as need to get us all organsed but is everyone clear on what they are doing for now or is further guidance needed? Just ask if there is anything you're unsure of!
    Hugs all!

Good luck with the run this morning.

As for the shopping budget......I am certainly in no position to comment on that one!!

    Have a good weekend x

  • Well I ran and so far still walking! Tomorrow morning may be a very diferent matter! Popped into town and got some HH gloves and resisted the yummy watch that tracks everyting (pace, distance, cals & heart rate to name a few!) but wil get this out of the extra dos jar which stands at £48 at present so not THAT long to go! The age old dilemma of debt vs treat and only time will tell. I'm due backdated pay rise (from April!) & there may be som money back when mort transfers over so we shall see! The CC bill for Maceys vet bill is in though plus car needs taxing in Dec but roof savings still in place...We'll see! Anyway, off to bed I go! HUgs all debt busters!

  • Have been good & done my research and done my little sums this am...no watch for me for now! I've been a good DFW and have come to my sences! realising over time the importance of not impulse buying! I'm not saying I wont get it eventually but for now the priority is to get the CC's under 7000 (my "oh ****" level!) and due to the vets bill that stands at 7700 at the moment. Have also decided that I need to reign in alcohol consumption and start getting back to basics with food. Bad habits are creeping in and physcially it makes me feel quite cack! I finshed off a box of chocs I was given last night & didnt actually enjoy it...fruit & veg here I come!
I was going to the allotment today but its raning so thats out (can't dig wet soil). I finally managed to get shopaholic and baby from the library and read this in bed with toast! Yummy! Will try & get a few things listed on ebay tonight - jam pan & tiffany ring.
Otherwise a farily quiet day planned here. I may see if I can get some cheap running trousers and top. Having 1 set is false economy as I have to wash them all the time which means doing a wash when I wouldnt normally...I also need a new sports bra and the one recommended was £35 which there is no way I will spend! Only problem is that clearing cookies all the time is a pain but worth it for cash back!
Feeling a bit exhausted by it all and had a horrible moment this morning when I added up CC's but put the wrong figure in so it came out at £6440!! While a moment of yipee sub 7000...didnt last long as knew that wasnt right - turns out I added up my available balance for one of them!! Never mind - it wont be long before I am below 7000!
Oh yes pleased to report that I can walk this am!!
