Take out a new 2 year loan for the same amount?0

I had a loan with Lloyd's with around 2 years left to pay, I took out a remortgage with them & when the money was paid into my account they had paid off the outstanding balance of the loan with my remortgage money, can I do anything about it?
Did the mortgage offer make this a condition? Check.

What did you agree with the bank when you applied for a mortgage?
To me it would be more stupid not to have paid off an expensive loan for a cheaper rate mortgage (as long as you are not going to be paying the loan part for the next 25 years or so).0
