UK seeing "Right Kind of Growth"

The UK economy is starting to see the right kind of growth, says employers' organisation the CBI.

"Our forecast shows encouraging signs that business investment and net trade are starting to play their part," said CBI boss John Cridland.

He said the recovery was not a "debt-fuelled, housing bubble-led recovery", as some economists have feared.

Good news, but I'll await confirmation from our resident economy gurus shortchanged, grizzly and devon to confirm this.
It's just the head of the CBI after all.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

    Yep.

It's like sunrise. You first start to see the sun, and after a while you can see the whole sun. Why I have to explain this to a grown up man is another matter.

I always wonder why good news threads are less popular than the bad news threads to the likes of shortchanged, Devon, Brit and the usual suspects...

May be they enjoy all the negativity.

Economic growth is good news, thanks for posting Hamish.

it's dangerous to look straight at the sun: it is the same with the right sort of growth?

Then before you know it , the sun disappears. Rather like the economy. It is flattering to deceive.
