3500 photos to print...

Does anyone have any advice for printing so many photos?

We can try and cut it down some more but it won't get less than 3000 and the cheapest I can find is £200 :eek:

Would it work out cheaper to print them out yourselves if they're on a computer/you're scanning them in? Factoring cost of paper and ink and maybe a printer lol

I would put them in a photobook. I did a wedding album with 1500 photos and a honeymoon one with 2500 photos. I use vistaprint with an offer and one cost £40 and the honeymoon album was £25.

Oh that sounds like a good idea. Forgive mr if I'm being dense, but how do you fit 2500 pics in one book, or is it just a massive book/ smaller photos?

I think printing them at home would be too expensive/ quality be a bit rubbish. Thanks for the reply!

You can have them as backgrounds etc, layer them, have a quick Google for ideas.

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/free-photo-prints may be worth checking out. Having a few friends/family do photos in their name and waiting for new deals to crop up, if nothing else it could cut down the number you have to pay for.

Looks like using the photo deals available currently, and say you had 4 people doing it, I make it to be just over 1500 photos done for £42 in postage.

For 3000 of one I'd look at doing them as postcards. It would be about £100 for 3000 A6 postcards single sided (and double siding them is only about £30 more)

The digital photo frame is a good idea but we have been printing our photos since the start of our relationship and have them all in different albums. Obviously this is a massive (2 1/2 years!) backlog. I do like this idea though and may look into one!
