Natwest 'Quick Quote' Tool

Hi
Does anyone have any experience of this? I am a Natwest customer and out of interest I went through the process and was 'congratulated' on an offer for a loan @ 25.3% APR. I didn't go any further. The Natwest blurb says this quote doesn't leave a mark on your credit file that is visible to anyone but me. Actually this seems wrong because I have checked all 3 CRA's and there is no search with any of them. Does this 'quote' actually perform a soft search? Has anyone had an APR as high as this and been accepted? Does it automatically decline if you really wont qualify? Finally, seeing as I am throwing out so many questions does anyone know which CRA Natwest do use for a loan search and even whether they would do one for an existing customer? I just had a CCJ drop off last month so I am interested to see how lenders now see me.
Thanks

There is a talk now on the screen where you fill in the details, perhaps you could try that option.
Nationwide have a similar soft search form.
Credit files are updated monthly for most items, so it may not appear on them until an update has been made.
Seen many people post that if the Nationwide soft search check throws up a high APR, then it's highly likely, it will mean a refusal, if they did a full search.
I would say, it's likely to be a refusal, unless you are looking at a £1000 - £2000 loan, where at 22.9% APR Variable, 25.3% might be available.
When I went for an account review with Natwest, I noticed on the screen, it mentioned a % of my chances of getting a loan, credit card and mortgage with them, so you might be better going into a branch.0
