I didn't see any reason to post it as a weekly as it is a totally new competition with a totally new prize every week. The link posted by Claire really is just a 'heads up' that Very are having competitions rather than a link to a competition. I thought weeklies were if it was the same competition with the same prize that you could enter each week rather than a particular website had different competitions each week; if the latter then surely 90% of the competitions posted here fall into the 'weekly' category.

I have no idea as to how it works as I see various posters post various weekly or even daily comps as they wish and no set pattern, I was merely pointing out that it had been posted this week already and that I had not requested a merge because I was unsure what should be done, am rather wishing I had not bothered now and shall just skip by in future.

I thought there was supposed to be a thread in the regular comps, like Claire's - the general heads up...

And then posters could also post a weekly one on the main board as well?

In both cases, if an overall end date for the promotion is known then it should be posted on the main board and linked to the appropriate sticky.

So it looks like as this has an end date, and is not ongoing for the year, it needs to be on here and on a regulars sticky?
