Here is a handy guide to using Clixsense, much improved from the last one. Please note if you're looking for a referral feel free to look on my profile under the contact tab. We frequently offer advice, whether you use our referrals or not, and a referral isn't actually necessary to join:
How to earn on Clixsense
Sign up using a confirmed e-mail address, sign in and you'll be able to access the following:
Views Ads - Standard members are guaranteed one advert per day, worth $0.01 cent. Additional adverts will appear worth $0.005 and $0.001. These disappear quickly so select them when you see them. Premium members also see adverts worth $0.02, premium members also get at least 4 $0.01 adverts.
Offers
ClixOffers - Here you can start using Radio Loyalty, if you have the radio running for 30 minutes you will see a captcha, enter this (a series of letters and words) in order to receive 3 cents. This can sometimes take until the following day to credit but it usually credits. Any problems just raise a ticket, Clixsense are usually very good at replying to us. This is a little booster really and there are some regular users of this thread who've earned over $10 already just from using this, and some of the music isn't bad either! There are surveys available on here too with daily surveys on offer for $1, 90c, 70c etc and other surveys from Samplicious and Toluna regularly available. A few times a week there are surveys worth $4 or $5 and these can take up to 60 days to credit. I have personally completed some of these offers and they were of great help to my balance when they eventually credit. Surveys are entirely dependant on your demographic and unfortunately asking Clixsense for more won't make you get through them, just like with other survey sites.
Additional walls are Trialpay, Radium One, Peanut Labs, Matomy, Supersonic Ads, SuperRewards and Token Ads. I will have to check these out in depth a little more and provide more information shortly, I've just been so busy with the tasks lately
There is also a history tab at the bottom of the offers section to allow you to check the status of pending offers etc.
Tasks - Crowdflower tasks are here, with a wide variety on offer including Tweet, Facebook and Instagram tasks, Fisher Investment tasks, Investment tasks (mainly from Fisher Investments again) and casino tasks (a mixture). Those of us who complete jobs regularly, and accurately, eventually noticed an increase in the amount of tasks that we get, as well as the offer of [Business Data] tasks that allow us to receive additional bonuses for high amounts of work completed and high accuracy. I personally have received numerous university surveys and other very interesting jobs, some paying in excess of $1 for just a few minutes work, via the Clixsense Tasks page. There is a $5 bonus for every $50 of tasks that you complete, this is added as soon as you hit the threshold.
Guide times for jobs
9:45-10:00am onwards - Webwindows jobs. Very simple, complete a search for a specific phrase, open the first link and copy in the URL to the task box, each one, there are usually three, pays 7 cents for just seconds work.
5:30-5:35pm onwards - Tweet tasks. These involve visiting a designated link, pressing the Tweet button, getting the URL details of that tweet from Twitter and pasting it back into the task page, takes around 20-30 seconds, or even less, and pays 8 cents plus around 10 cents for every one that they confirm you posted. Usually at least 10 available, but you have to be very quick. 5.33pm 8th March 2014
7:50-8:00pm onwards - Investment Tasks (Fisher Investments) Involve visiting websites and providing data about searches, has a detailed guide on each job, very simple to understand but the buttons you have to press (Bookmarklet) can be a little glitchy at times. If you're having trouble with these tasks then note that on some of the tasks there is a second Bookmarklet button missing, you will need to scroll back up to the top, press the 'Click this to start the job' bookmarklet button, then press your saved bookmarklet link, load up the required URL, press it again and run the 30 second countdown, this should then work. Around 8pm March 2014
11:30pm - 3:00am sometimes! Casino tasks. These involve searching for a phrase on Google, noting down where a set result appeared in the first 10 pages, visiting the page, sometimes using Bookmarklet (details below) and answering questions to confirm you visited the websites and browsed around. Worth 7 cents per job usually, occasionally changes. Last known time 12:58am 9th March 2014
ClixGrid - You get 30 chances on the grid, click a box and a new tab/window opens up, click the cat picture and wait 10 seconds to see if you're a winner. Wins include extra chances on the grid and prize money from 10 cents up to $10. Don't forget to lock the picture by selecting 'Lock Picture' before starting as having the photograph refresh every time can be rather annoying. Premium members get 60 Clixgrid clicks daily. You have to click 20 adverts per day in order to count towards the checklist bonus.
Advertise - Here you can choose to advertise other websites, referral links etc. Those of us who have been premium members for more than six months may have credits available to advertise for free.
Affiliates - Affiliate earnings are dependant on whether you are a standard or premium member (more details on premium membership below). Details on earnings:
Each time a level 1 direct referral clicks on a paid to click advert a standard member earns $0.0002, $0.0010, $0.0020 or $0.0040 for the $0.001, $0.005, $0.01 and $0.02 adverts respectively. For the same adverts a premium member receives $0.0004, $0.0020, $0.0040 and $0.0080 respectively.
For each direct referral you sign up that earns a total of at least $5 for standard members and $10 for premium members. You will earn a signup bonus of $0.50 after $10.00 of earnings as a standard member and a bonus of $1.00 after $5.00 of earnings as a premium member. The $5.00 and $10.00 totals include earnings from PTC clicks, tasks and approved offers, bonuses, commissions and prizes are not included.
Standard members earn 5% commission on any offers that their direct referral undertakes, with premium members earning 10% commission. The same percentages apply to tasks completed by direct referrals.

Advertising Sales
Earn even more whenever your direct referrals purchase Ad Credits or ClixGrid links. For example if you are a Premium member and one of your referrals buys a ClixGrid link you immediately earn $2.00 for doing nothing!

Premium Membership Upgrades
This is where the true power of the ClixSense affiliate program comes into play. With 8 levels there's no limit on how much you can earn, although you'll have to upgrade yourself to take full advantage of this because Standard members earn only from their direct referrals. Whenever your direct referrals upgrade, you're instantly paid $2.00! If you are a Premium member and if your referrals refer others who also upgrade you are instantly paid $1.00 for each upgrade through 8 levels! You just got paid for doing nothing!

Forum - Here you can find other members talking about various aspects of Clixsense, tasks etc. You also need to click here once per day to complete the daily checklist, you can literally just click the word forum and click off again. You can't private message or click on peoples name to see a profile but you can like posts after you've posted 10 times and your first posts are moderated on the forum so may take some time to arrive.
Daily Checklist Bonus
If you complete these 5 things per day you will receive a 5% bonus on your earnings (PTC, Tasks, Offers etc - not including bonuses) if you are a standard member and 12% if you are a premium member.
View PTC Ads - 2 Per day
Clixgrid Game - Click 20 Clixgrid squares per day, run each one for 5 seconds, it'll be clear when you've completed viewing each advert.
Complete Tasks & Complete Offers - Either complete 10 Crowdflower Tasks OR 2 offers (not including watching videos) OR complete 5 Crowdflower Tasks (found on the tasks page) AND complete 1 offer (not including watching videos).
Visit Forum - Just click on forum, browse if you like (although this is not compulsory).
Once you've completed the daily checklist (midnight reset their time is 5am our time) you will be told 'Congrats! You have met the minimum requirements for today's checklist'. It'll then tell you what your current bonus is due to be. My best daily bonus has been around the $3-$4 mark, well worth the $17 upgrade fee for us regular users!
Cashout
Ahh yes, the important bit! Standard members can cashout with $8 and premium members with $6. Payouts arrive, via Paypal, minus a 3% fee that is deducted when you cashout, at around 8-9pm UK time on Monday and Friday. You have to choose the amount to cashout manually, this is not currently done automatically. You will usually receive $0.01 before you get your actual cashout the first time you cashout, likely to check your account is active.
Upgrade to Premium Membership
This costs $17 per year, which you can pay from your on site balance, Paypal or a bit of both, and lasts for 1 year. Premium membership entitles you to more Clixgrid daily clicks (and therefore more chances to win - my best yet is $0.50!) also the daily checklist bonus increases from 5% to 12%. Further to this there is an increase in commissions for signups/direct referrals, as detailed above, so if you have lots of friends you've referred or are going to refer then premium membership if the right thing.
A standard member would make $0.50 on $10 while a premium member would make $1.20 on $10, this is a significant amount to earn and I personally have made over $100 from the checklist bonuses since I upgraded back in June, this has earned me over $60 more than I would've earned with a standard membership - this alone made the fee worth it for me, and I paid from my onsite earnings so it really only cost me time to upgrade rather than money.
