Waitrose Toys Clearance!

Waitrose have reduced the prices of their Christmas toy stock down to silly levels to clear it.

Our store had toys that were £20 down to £1.99, and there were quite a few things under £1 as well (including playmobil sets). I believe this is nationwide.

(My OH picked up the board game Operation for £1.99!)

Hope this helps someone, happy bargain hunting!
a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library

Nearest is only a Little Waitrose, but for seriously cheap toys (and that free coffee!) I can always go & have a look!

I did. Too little for toys, & the coffee machine was down.

there were a few toys reduced in my local Waitrose this afternoon but they weren't reduced to anywhere near the levels mentioned in the OP. Maybe it's at the discretion of the store manager in each case.

  • Nothing really in Preston, only think in that section reduced I could see was a Ravensburger 3D globe puzzle down to £9.99. There was a basket of a few toys in a grocery aisle which I assume to be reduced but couldn't see any process and they looked a little battered anyway

Oh rubbish :( Sorry to hear it's not everywhere - maybe they'll reduce them at some later date?

It's the one in Sheffield that's reduced them to crazy levels, in case anyone's wondering :)
