The 14 Day Ticket Giveaway can be accessed through the Air Mauritius Facebook page and is organised by Air Mauritius. By taking part in the 14 Day Ticket Giveaway you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time they participate in the 14 Day Ticket Giveaway.
Air Mauritius reserves the right to request written proof of each winner's address and age before awarding a prize.
Air Mauritius has the right to reject any entry that does not meet these Terms and Conditions.
This competition is subject to all applicable national, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the laws that govern you in the jurisdiction in which you are resident. Your participation in this competition is at your sole option and risk. Competition void where not valid or prohibited. Participants can enter the 14 Day Ticket Giveaway once a day. Participation is only possible via Facebook.
Participants must enter with their name as it appears on their passport/national identity card
The prizes
Winners of the 14 Day Ticket Giveaway will win:
One pair of return tickets to or from the destination advertised each day.
Winners must start their trip from Mauritius or one of Air Mauritius' departure airports.
Winners will receive two Air Mauritius Economy Class return tickets, on flights operated by Air Mauritius, subject to availability. Any other incidental expenses are not included in the above prize and must be paid for by the winner. Air Mauritius will have no liability in relation to travel costs associated with travelling to or from the airports. Where available, all prize flights will be issued as e-tickets. All transportation taxes, fees and charges are included.
Travel on Air Mauritius codeshare and alliance airlines, transfers and other add-ons are not included in the prize. Once booked, no changes can be made to tickets. The winner and his/her travel companion must travel the outbound and inbound journeys together.
Any other incidental expenses are not included in the above prize and must be paid for by the winner. Air Mauritius will have no liability in relation to travel costs associated with travelling to or from the airports.
The winners are responsible for supplying valid passports and visas and obtaining inoculations that may be required to visit the destination that is their prize.
Air Mauritius reserves the right to provide substitute prizes of similar value, should the specified prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
No cash or credit alternatives are offered. No upgrades are allowed.
No Air Mauritius or partner air miles will be awarded for travel under this promotion.
Prize winner tickets is subject to availability.
All travel is subject to Air Mauritius' standard terms and conditions of carriage.
Travel dates must be booked and tickets issued by 20 March 2014.

An adult must accompany any children or infants.
Entries must be submitted by completing the online form on facebook.com/airmauritius between 10:00am GMT on 20 January 2014 and 9.59am GMT on 2 February 2014. Times are subject to change, see the Air Mauritius Facebook page for more detail. The winner will be asked to verify acceptance of the terms and conditions at the time of entering.
Claiming the Air Mauritius tickets: an email will be sent to confirm the prize. This email will contain information about how to claim the tickets. Air Mauritius reserves the right, due to acts of nature or reasons beyond their control, to change the type of prize in the course of the prize draw or to replace the prize with a different prize of equal value. Under no circumstances shall this alternative lead to replacement or refund. Personal data gathered for the purpose of this prize draw will be handled in confidence in line with the Data Protection Act.
The names of winners will be confirmed on the Air Mauritius Facebook page on Wednesday 29 January 2014 and Tuesday 4 February 2014. If the prize remains unclaimed after 7 days or is declined by the winner, a supplementary winner may be drawn at Air Mauritius' discretion and will be notified via Facebook.
Exclusions
This competition is not open to Air Mauritius & Airmate employees and their respective beneficiaries who are entitled to the Staff Concessional Travel Scheme.
Air Mauritius reserves the right to disqualify entries that it suspects of being fraudulent. No third party or bulk entries are permitted and will be disqualified.
Participation in the 14 Day Ticket Giveaway is voluntary. By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any associated entry requirements. Any breach of these terms and conditions by a participant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry.
