You're really good at those NSDs

Thanks INOD, I do seem to have had quite a few recently :)

Today has certainly not been a NSD, so far I've spent £41.90 on christmas presents, £13.33 on postage (sending a present to canada and more stamps for my christmas cards) and £3.80 on bus fare.

Additional spends for today - £2.10 on milk and fruit.

Wrote out a heap of christmas cards tonight ready for posting tomorrow. I've made a list of the christmas presents still left to get so will get some more on Friday once I get paid.

Spends for today are £2.24 on food and £2.20 on bus fare home from work. I went to the gym this morning :)

I got a phone call from the bank today asking me to go in for a loan review so have got an appointment on Friday. Apparently they can save me money - I won't hold my breath as the last appointment was a waste of time but fingers crossed as the interest rate on my loan is horrendous.

Got my payslip today from 2nd job so will write out a budget tomorrow.

Well done with the chipping away.

Thanks INOD, don't feel I've been able to put so much towards cc1 this month so far as concentrating on getting christmas presents. Looking forward to the new year to get back into it properly :)

It went well, the interest on the loan has been cut by over 7% which will save me over £700 :D I need to go back in on Wednesday to complete the paperwork though because I didn't realise how long it would take so had to leave to go to work. The downside is that the debt will go up slightly to start with as I need to pay an exit fee to pay off the old loan. I need to find out how easy it is to make overpayments to the new loan as it would probably make sense to overpay that rather than cc2 as cc2 is at 0%.

I got paid £102.10 today so paid £2.10 to cc1, £40 for direct debits due out this week, £30 food and £30 for a christmas night out with the girls. Spends for today are £2.20 on bus fare and £2.50 on food.

Really struggling to find time to post at the moment - just so busy with work and trying to get everything sorted before christmas. Hopefully will have time later this evening to catch up on everyone else's diaries.

In the few days since I last posted, I have spent £26.44 on food, £6.50 on toiletries and £58.50 on christmas presents. I'm almost there with my christmas presents, just a few more to buy and then I need to give my sister money for my parents present.

I've been to the bank this morning so that's the loan sorted. My debt has gone up slightly due to the exit fee so I won't make my £7000 mini target by the end of the year, however, it will start going down more quickly next year :T

I've redone my snowball and as I can now make overpayments to the loan, it is saying that I should focus on the loan rather than the credit cards. So my plan of action is to continue overpaying cc1 until the end of the year and then start overpaying the loan.

Unfortunately I need to go into the bank to make the overpayments so I will start putting all my little overpayments into a savings account and when it gets to £25 I will make an overpayment.
