Love it! I think if anyone can move to a new place, kit it out with furniture and everything and NOT add to their debt, then that person would be you. :)

Thanks ani :D well hopefully. New credit card took a bit of a hammering over the weekend, almost £700 for paint and associated bits, curtain rails and curtains and a carpet for the living room but will be able to pay this back quickly using my wages tomorrow and the deposit from old flat when we get it back.
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10789.83/£15000 (71.9% saved). Emergency fund - £1525.51/£2000 (76.3% saved).

Miss Tara how was your weekend ! x

Good thanks monz. Spent most of it at the new flat so living room is all decorated, just waiting for the carpet to be delivered. Also did a wee shift for 2nd job yesterday so that will be some extra cash on Friday. Hope you also had a good weekend.

Today should be a NSD, just counting down to payday tomorrow. Will post my budget later.

So much good news! Absolutely super to read :-)
Okay so if you can't get out of the lease on the current flat then the debt may not go down as much as you'd like till the lease is up but you are already 2 months down on the 6 months lease so not long to go.

I foresee a really good 2017 for you misstara. Nicer, much cheaper flat, debt a thing of the past, job going well:-)
I look forward to reading about what you will be doing with the money you have been putting towards the debt each month. I am sure a lot of thought will go into making sure its spent/saved wisely and mean that life is a lot easier for you.

I can't think of anyone who deserves it more, so much focus and hard work has gone into getting rid of your debt, its really paid off and the future looks good!

Thanks Boodedoo :D. I'm definitely feeling very positive about the future at the moment. I think it's unlikely that we will be able to get out of the lease based on the research I've done but have emailed the landlord to ask, still awaiting a reply.
But as you say 2 months down already.

Had a productive morning cleaning the flat and catching up on my ironing. Then a couple of hours training and now off to work.

I did the food shop yesterday and spent £40.32. I got paid £39.76 from 2nd job so that almost paid for the shopping. I also spent £10 on chocolates to take into work as it's my last weekend.

A NSD today, I was planning to go for a wander round the shops for a couple of things but in the end just stayed on the sofa reading a book. Now off to work.
