Just out of curiosity, can people tell me what type of reCaptcha they are getting and in which version of their browser.

I'm getting the ones with black blobs behind each word that are difficult to read and won't go through unless they are 100% accurate in the following browsers;

Avant Browser Ultimate 2012 build 197
- Google Chrome 23 Rendering Engine
Firefox 26
Google Chrome 32
IE 11
Opera 12.16
Safari 5.1.7

In the following browsers I'm getting two fairly easy-to-read words, one of which is wavy;

Avant Browser Ultimate 2012 build 197
- Firefox 17 Rendering Engine
- IE10 Rendering Engine
Opera 18 (Chrome/31.0.1650.63)

    I had the "difficult to read" ReCaptcha with the back blob suddenly in Firefox, IE and Chrome for a short time a couple of days ago. I changed browser to try and return to the easier ReCapcha and eventually this happened. Haven't seen the difficult version since!

    FF 25.0.1 I've been getting the number ones mostly and prefer them they're easier to read

    Firefox 26.0 - I did the E: 07/02 Win £52,000 with This Morning / ITV via the old style page today and had the captchas with the wavy word.

    The only time I have had the hard to read ones with the blob is after getting the easier ones wrong over and over

    They seem to have switched to the easier ones today, perhaps enough people clicked on the question mark and complained that the blob-type ones were too difficult.
