Non status bridging loan or alternative?

Hi everyone - i'm hoping someone on here has experience with a non-status bridging loan or, can anyone suggest another type of loan i should look into for my circumstances which are as follows:

Just sold my house in Scotland (main and only residence). Equity will be £29k. Money obviously doesn't get released until the movng in date (28 Feb) but i need funds before then for a deposit on a house. Hence the need for a short-term loan.
I'm lookiing to borrow £5k with an exit strategy of paying it in full on the 28 feb when sale of the house money is deposited. I have bad credit, hence the "non status" bridging loan.

1. can anyone recommend a non status bridging lender?
2. can anyone suggest an alternative to bridging?

Many thanks!

  • I can't see it happening sorry - most banks seem to shun away from bridging loans these days.

no "high street" bank deal in this type of finance, i'm well aware of that, hence the reason i'm asking for anyone with experience to recommend a broker who deals in non status bridging. There are plenty of brokers with this product on offer..i just need recommendations or alternatives.
  • Sorry can't help you then and as others have not posted either this might be more difficult than you think to arrange.
If you know of any brokers have you contacted them?

Thanks...no i have not contacted any brokers yet which is why i put the question up, wanted to know if anyone had used any, could recommend etc first. There's a lot of them out there so was looking for some feedback before approaching any of them...thanks anyway, appreciate it :)
  • Who could recommend someone ethical to provide a £10k loan (need this by MONDAY 10th Feb). To be paid back when my property in France completes (Latest completion date is 28th March, buyer wants to complete at end of February, so could have funds to repay loan earlier). Have a property with a £395k mortgage, value of £550-600k. BAD CREDIT RATING, so not possible to get funds from my existing lender. Thankyou
