Highstreetmax (Edgware) have been taking monthly payments from my credit card?

I've just realised that for over a year now a company called Highstreetmax (Edgware) have been taking £20.95 from my credit card on a monthly basis. Having done some initial research on the internet it seems this has been happening for a number of years now (the mirror covered some stories on this back in 2008), often linked to using lastminute.com and clicking a link toi claim a free £10 shopping voucher??????
So once I've contacted my credit card company and deleted the payment etc how do I go about reclaiming the money? Anybody had previous experiences of this scam?
