I never usually like to make them as I never stick to them but I do intend to make up one up which I can save, copy and paste because we all know that 90% of companies running comps after Christmas are going to ask: Tell us you New Year's Resolution....:rotfl: :rotfl:

Last year I made two comping resolutions...
1) to keep a record of all my wins....

.....and did until January 31st! :(

2) to not ignore the word 'effort' in the title....

.....but the sight of that word continued to scare me so that one went out the window too! ::eek:

Have any of you made a comping related resolution and stuck to it? If you have then I might set myself a challenge! :o

    1) To comp fully for the year ahead - no breaks!

    2) To get ahead and put presents away for christmas - instead of getting excited and then giving them right away! :(

    3) EFFORT COMPETITIONS!!!!
December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers
  • To have January off from comping, it has already gone out the window as there is a comp that starts tomorrow and it's a daily. Does not finish till the 6th January ohh well. :o

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
To not start at the very last page and trawl all the way through just in case I have missed a decent comp......for the 5th time!

And yes I have only this month discovered the tick button DOH

I do your number 2 already and it saves me loads of money and time shopping. I make a list of all the people I buy for, both at Christmas and for birthdays, then when I win a prize that I know would make a great gift, I write the prize by the person's name then put it in my 'prize box.. This Christmas I would say 80% of the gifts I gave were prizes I'd won.

Luckily my family don't make any sly comments ie 'I take it this was a prize?' They don't ask and I don't say. Good luck to you with your resolutions :o

To fit comping around real life, not forsake real life to do comping.

I agree, especially during the Advents!

  • 1.To enter more competitions then I usually do doesn't help having a slow pc.

    Can't think of anything else.
  • Last year I wanted to spend less time doing competitions because my first year was a bit manic and obsessed. I'm happy to say i cut down and didn't worry about missing comps or not keeping ahead. I had an even better year for wins with my biggest win yet (a kitchen) and still had plenty time to spend with family and other hobbies.

I'm going to do the same this year :)

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx

Mine is to get back in the car as I passed my test years ago but we had a rusty old death trap until now so I need to start driving again! :)
My new yrs resolution is also to think positive and win more comps this year! :p

    These two definitely

Would like to comp the entire year as I've had a lot of time off this year

Would also like to do the dailies every day and record my wins every month including the date I win and where I win from IE facebook, blog, twitter etc
