hmm so curling hair was epic fail. need to practice!
day at home planned today to do cleaning, jobs and then go gym.
list for today-- ring coop energy- forgot yest!
- reprogramme timer for boiler (this will be great as its on for too long when it comes on so gets to hot. cutting about 1.5 hours off timer which means if im cold i can put it on later for no extra cost than what im paying now
) - clean dining room window and kitchen window
- clean bedroom and change bedding
- tidy and clean downstairs inc wash kitchen floor
- de limescale kettle
- prepare for mould and limescale removal tomorrow by soaking bleach and remover on strips of kitchen roll and sticking in place.
- do dec budget to include higher food budget, higher mortgage payment and possible higher present budget
- check present spends and prepare revised budget for next year
currently cant my £200 out of the mortgage current account as dont have a card so cant set up transfer or withdraw in cash and other barclay current account was closed last week so cant internally transfer to do it that way. considered walking to nearest branch but know they are funny about doing things without card. will wait and see if card arrives and if not will go next sat. cant pay cc off till friday anyway unless the £100 arrives before then.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
ok so done present budget- removed a few pp im going to discuss no presents with at the appropriate time so even with few increases it is still the same
also removed the cards and paper budget for bdays as in reality these only cost £1 per time and as they are split throughout the year i will just buy these from weekly spends.
rang coop- still not sorted but the guy is going to speak to another team on monday to liaise with british gas and get it resolved. hope there is no bill!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
so barclays card arrived in post yest so transferred the £200. cc is now only £50 :T will clear on friday unless get ms money or the £100 sooner.
aiming to repay dad £500 this month hopefully
so for next year i need the following-
£200 tax bill
£3000 to clear debt
£3000 for india
£900 to redecorate bedroom (inc getting sash window replaced)
£400 new freezer
total £7500. that works out at £625 per month which should be acheivable (although unless i find an extra £400 by end of april will not be debt free until may
)
month wise i should have approx £150 left of wage and £340 rent so need to aim for £135 extra earnt per month to hit target. should be doable
so got a lot done yest. everything done from list except hoovering, wash kitchen floor and windows but i have now done mold and limescale removal. limescale all gone, need to check mold later as put kitchen roll in bleach on it last night so need to peel off and wipe down. will do rest of jobs today. also going to do my edig surveys. 3 left and 1 can be completed, the others i need to send an email for so will do as much as i can and they can go later in week.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
great news- i rang halifax as i have not had my £100 switch and my switch completed yest. the lady sorted it and gave me £15 comp and £7 towards the cost of my call (which was free as i used a landline from say no website and get free calls ) so will now get £122! will arrive tomorrow
payday tomorrow :j:T:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
oops not updated for a while!

so halifax made a mistake and i got the £100 twice! :j:T have transferred it over to debt acc now
if they notice i can easily give them it back.
so had a nice xmas but cat was causing chaos here alone! took to roaming the streets and staying out terrorising other cats. had a call from someone to see if i could go and get him but obv was not there. friend went searching and found him and locked him away. naughty boy
he was very sulky when i got back but i bought him a new toy which he absolutely loves so all is forgiven! :rotfl:
have done loads of present buying in the sales on xmas day from philosophy and body shop so have got about 50% of mothers day, bday and xmas pressies sorted
all were over half price
spent around £100 on them so will need to pay that off cc then pay debt acc back each month with the present budget. will use a cheque for £120 that hasnt cleared yet.
so far have £548 to send to dad on tuesday so debt is under £3k :T:j:beer: dont think anymore payments will go in before then. annoyingly a few i was expecting have been delayed but they should come in early jan.
need to pay tax bill in jan of around £180 but should have that in my wages so all extra money can still go to dad :T
going to officially start my healthy eating tomorrow (but being good today also :A). following the skinny rules, gym at least 5 times per week and logging in myfitnesspal. no treats at all until i loose 6lbs :A:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
oops well starting diet early was a bit of an epic fail
back on it today though and have been out for a swim :A
went out last night to a party which was excellent and got in a 3.30am. bit tired now! also got a headache but other than that im ok :j
today will be a sfd as i dont want to go out again in the horrible weather!
massive body shop box arrived yesterday and pressies all look really good. just need to collect the debenhams orders then will put the xmas ones in the loft. feel like a proper grown up now i have a present box :rotfl:
cheque has cleared so cc all paid off
plans for rest of today are to take tree down and put back in loft and hoover up. and little rests on the sofa
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
