TESCO: £2.50 bottle of Rose (25% off + 2 for £10)

Just been to Tesco and combined the 25% off when you buy 6 bottles of wine with 2 bottles for £10. Tesco are taking 25% off the full amount of wine, not the 2 for £10 price of the wine.

Bought 6 x Wine Route Pinotage Rose £9.99 a bottle.

Sub -total £59.94
Wines 2 for £10 - £29.94
25% off 6 bottles of wine - £14.99

Total to pay £15.01 for 6 bottles of wine. :D:D

Other bottles of red and white included in the offer, obviously the higher priced the wine, the better the effect of the 25% off.

EDIT: Seen that this is mentioned in the 25% off Tesco wine thread. As Tesco are frequently doing the 25% off deal, I didn't read that thread as didn't need to. However, had I seen a thread title telling me Tesco were selling wine @ £2.50 a bottle, I'd have shot off to my local.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So started a new thread for others who would never have clicked on the 25% off wine thread.

Thanks for posting this as I would not have read the other thread.
25% off is a frequent offer, but for last year or so Tesco have always managed to make sure no linked offers are running at the same time, so there has been no big discounts.

Been to my local - but the shelves are cleared of anything over about £6.99 on the 2 for £10 offer. So others have been much quicker off the mark !!

Just have to hope they restock before the offer ends.

my tesco have only had 1 type of wine available in the 2 for £10 offer, been like that since friday, but it was red and i dont like red.
