I notice that 6-packs of Salmon fillets are going half price at T from tomorrow (£10 to £5)
If these were comparable, it would be great value for a AvT shop.
Clicking from T on MSM, it **does** compare. Look >>

However, clicking from SADA on MSM, it doesn't compare.

Can any of the experts here share some words of wisdom please?
I think one of them is me:D.
I notice I'm [Strike]second[/Strike] third:eek: though, as I was checking to make sure my facts are right. I think this won't work, because the T product is outside of the 10% weight range. Even if it's the same number of fillets, the weight difference is too much. Msm may well show T comparing to A - this is because msm includes items that are between half the size and double the size at the competitor. So it would still include A's price on the T product info. even if the A product were 1.2kg! But that would clearly be outside of the 10% weight limit that applies to the APG (and remember that is calculated as +/-10% from the weight of the A product), as it's also outside the weight from A's 780g.
As regards the price for T not appearing on the A product, I think this is simply a case of one of those anomalies where, sometimes, the products don't get married up to one another by the computer scanner that does the scanning of the online sites for msm. It looks like it's married up the T product to the A product but not the A product to the T one. If you contact msm, I am sure they will correct it and add the T price onto the A product (as T's item is half the size or more of the A product weight), but this still won't change what compares or not on the APG as that works using different rules to those which apply to msm.co.uk.
The reason I was hesitating and checking before I posted was that there's a very slim chance that 6 per pack would compare to 6 per pack, but because of the weight range, I very much doubt it although I'd have to eat my hat if a womble (I wouldn't risk it yourself) later came back, unexpectedly, showing it comparing. I've always put this T Salmon Fillets, at appropriate times, down as a 'buy in T' item and not imagined any Avs T against it, however I always think it's better to wait until the new 'half price' offer expires and then go for it in T if your T then still says £5.00.
Nah - ignore my dithering and usual fence-sitting on things: I'll nail my colours to the mast and say this will not compare Avs T. Or, rather, it will compare - it will compare to N/A!:rotfl::(:(
There you go - I've 'shared' a few words. It will be non-comparable on the APG.0 -
