I got to the chest & it doesn't do anything when I press " Enter Prize draw"

I can't even get the bl**dy character to climb the s*dding beanstalk, it just jumps up and down!! my Mario-loving kids would be ashamed of me, but I can't figure out how to get it to climb up!!!


ETA: got there in the end, after about 10 minutes trying!!!!!
