To enter the Competition, an entrant must go online to www.kissfmuk.com and register the following details:

• Full name
• Contact phone number
• Date of birth
• Email address
• Twitter name (optional)
• Desired prize(up to the value of £600)
• Secret word (entrant’s choice of secret word for identification purposes)

They read out names (3 but no more than 10 random name selections on each day between Monday and Friday) and you have 20 minutes to phones them. So, if (when the comp starts) anyone hears a name being read out would be a good idea to bump the thread with the name(s). Hopefully we'll have some MSE winners.

Entrants may only register once to be eligible for selection throughout the Operating Period, multiple entries will be disregarded..

The secret word can be any word chosen by the entrant in order to identify them to the radio station. Entrants must remember their secret word and reveal this when contacted in order to claim their prize. In the instance that the secret word is not supplied, Kiss will require further verification of identity before awarding a prize.

If you submit your twitter name on the entry form, Kiss may tweet you at any point throughout the course of the competition to remind you to listen in to the on-air competition. Being tweeted by Kiss is not guaranteed to happen if your name is read out on-air, and being tweeted by Kiss does not necessarily mean your name has been read out on air. Twitter is not an additional entry route for this competition, nor is it a guaranteed notification of your name being called out on air. Giving Kiss your twitter name is optional.


The Competition will run on air on Kiss FM UK on Monday – Friday between Monday 25th November 2012 and Tuesday 24th December 2012 (“Duration“).The final day of the competition will be Tuesday 24thDecember 2012.
The Competition rounds will be conducted from Monday to Friday during the Duration between 08:00 and 19:00 (“Operating Period“), except on Tuesday 24th December when the competition rounds will take place between 09:00 and 16:00.

There will be no winning between the hours of 11:00 and 12:00 each day.

Kiss will make at least 3 but no more than 10 random name selections on each day between Monday and Friday during the Operating Period.

At various times of the day during the Operating Period, the presenter on air will read out the NAME of the entrant selected at random.

This entrant will have no more than 20 minutes (to the nearest minute) to contact the station (via the studio phone number below only) from when the entrant’s name is announced live on air on during the Operating Period.

For each round, it will be made clear on air when the 20 minute time limit will end.

The announced entrant must contact Kiss by the station phone number 08448 11 22 33 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 08448 11 22 33 FREE end_of_the_skype_highlighting and state the ‘Secret Word’ they submitted when registering for the competition in order to claim their prize.


If the entrant satisfies this and the other terms and conditions of this Competition they will win the prize. (They will be a “Winning Contestant“).

No other form of communication whatsoever will be acceptable and this call must be made in person by the named entrant within this timeframe.

A security check will be performed by the radio station when a claim is made to the prize; this will be to recall the secret password submitted upon registration at www.kissfmuk.com.

If the entrant fails to contact the radio station by telephone on the number provided within the specified time period or fails to supply the correct password, then no prize will be awarded to that entrant. THE STATION’S DECISION IS FINAL.

Entrants can only play once – an entrant will only be announced once on air during the Operating Period (notwithstanding any failure to win a prize).

Once an entrant has been selected at random and announced on air they will be ineligible for any future selection and the entry will be removed from the database of entries.

The Competition is open to UK residents.

You can register to play free of charge via the competition entry form on the website www.kissfmuk.comonly.There are no other methods of entering this Competition.


The winners will be chosen by random draw from the pool of entrants who have registered for the Competition at that point (other than those persons who have previously been selected and announced on air).Please note – the pool of entrants from which the selections will be made will get bigger as the Competition progresses.



The prize will be identified by the radio presenter as each new round is announced.Each prize will not exceed more than £600 in value.
If the prize chosen exceeds £600 in value, is unavailable or is deemed inappropriate, we reserve the right to replace with gift vouchers or choose a suitable alternative.
Kiss will endeavour to provide the prizes before Christmas 2013. If this is not possible they will be delivered before the 31st of January 2013.

Form is now available. Glad to see we have a couple of weeks until the torture of listening to the same songs over and over starts up.

For those who haven't participated in the joy that is Kissmas before, let me explain the purpose of "The List". As you have to call in after your name is read out on Kiss and only have 20 minutes to do so, there is a good chance that you could miss out. Eg, you're out shopping when your name is read out, or you're on your way to work or whatever. But chances are, someone from MSE will have heard it.

Now, they can post your name on this thread, or on one of the facebook groups, but if you're not checking those every 20 minutes (it's pretty addictive, you might find yourself doing this!), then you could still miss out. So to help out, the MSE community puts together a list of participants - you just PM us your details to be added to the list, and we will call/text/email (/all of the above) you if your name is called out. You can then phone up Kiss to claim your prize! Hopefully, this reduces the chances of missing out (which would of course be devastating).

To get yourself added to The List, you need to PM one of the folk listed below (pick one at random!) with your real name, Kissmas wish and phone number. You can include an email address (as well as or instead of a phone number) if you want, but remember names are called out between 8am - 7pm on weekdays, so ideally you want to give some way we can reach you any time between those hours.

Aah I loved this last year! Unfortunately I won't be able to hold the list this year as I'm working more hours now so won't be able to listen in on most times.
I would be happy to hold it for the few hours I can do though if we don't have enough!

This is probably a very stupid question. I didn't do this comp last year. What happens with the "list" that is set up? Do we just PM our name/phone number/codeword?

It's all new to me so please excuse my naivety.
