    This "...that you may have won" is the biggest hint that it is a spam message.

  • Ohh f....... I was already thinking that i had finally my first won and it's just a scam.
    I did so many competitions and i don't know anymore which ones i did. For sure a couple from tesco's...

    Well i will just bin it. It was in the junk post but i did open and used this email account only for this comps,....so i thought it was a real one.

    Just a word of warning before you click any links in any emails be certain they are genuine or you could find yourself in a lot of trouble. Hopefully your first win will be just round the corner.

    I get them all the time. Literally, 7 or 8 A DAY!! They'll start using your name and saying things like "has there been a misunderstanding" or "(prize) delivered to (your address!). It all goes into my spam but the odd one gets through. Some will even have a persons name as the sender. Just ignore them or block them.

    Thanks for this thread. I have just received a similar email and wasn't sure that it was genuine.

    I get a lot of them too and recently fake Apple, eBay, Paypal, Bank emails from the account I only use for comping so I've clearly entered some dodgy comps :(
