Secret Recruit

Has anyone used 'Secret Recruit' ?. Have followed a link for a job advertised on UJM and Secret's site looks nothing like a serious recruitment site.

I have yet to come across a recruitment agency with advertising on it & don't want to put my details on a dodgy site.

If, however, it turns-out to be a genuine site, then there are 3 jobs on it I will be applying for.

Show us the advert on UJM?

90 jobs on UJM using their name as a search (not all by them however)

Lots of jobs to work for them nationwide but I have never hear of them

No address on their site. No facility to search jobs on their site either. Very odd.

I'd keep clear of them if I was you

Address appears to be in the footer of every page. Phone no. is on contact page. Googled the phone no. & it checked-out as did companies house.

Just don't like the look of their site.

But they do not have just one office

That address is the registered address not where they are?

20 WIGGENHALL ROAD is the address you are talking about?

    It's a HOUSE!!

Makes me glad I followed my gut instinct and didn't apply for the job I was interested in.
Coopdivi, unlike the job you went for, I was going for the 'Maintanance man' role at £15.00 p/hr. This is the going rate for this type of job when working in facilities management.

I am in desperate need of a permanent position at the moment, so my feelings towards sites like 'Secret Recruit' are unprintable. I have wasted time that I could have used elsewhere more effectively.

    A few points:

    1. Their head office is a tiny terraced house.

    6. Why do the DWP's contractors Monster Jobs allow obviously fraudulent websites like Secret Recruit to advertise on Jobsearch Direct?
It was obvious as I Googled the registered address (see above) but they say (as they are advertising jobs for their own offices on UJM) they have many offices in the UK but none are listed on their site!

Why do the DWP allow it? Because any old Tom !!!!!! or Harry can advertise any 'job' or fake one on the UJM and its not checked at all.

Umpteen jobs all the same word for word all over the UK placed by the same 'agency'

    VERY ODD!

Report them to the UJM and you will expect to get NO REPLY!!
