I'm in Newport (South Wales) and the rain has been terrible today! It'd be nice for a while, then hammer down. Just glad, if we do get these bad winds, that it's half term here!

I am a Cornwall girl so apparently it is meant to be bad down here so have thankfully been let out of work early so that I can get home before 12am when it is going to start it is windy but nothing too bad yet and at least the rain has pretty much stopped I even managed to get the dog out for a walk

Im in the south east and the wind is really strong. Already lost a bit of my fence. It needed fixing anyway . Think me and the kids will be staying in for the day.

A few friends down in the South-West haven't been online, so may be in the lost power areas.

Friend in Dorset has used the limited battery on her laptop to let everyone know she's okay, but her power went out at 4.30am.

Just heard two ferries stuck outside of Dover at the moment.
