They've also announced that there will be no waste collection here tomorrow. Currently lashing it down and very windy.

Some poor 14 year old lad was swept away at Newhaven earlier today. They're still searching for him

Here in North West been a bit windy today but nothing to write home about. Normal for this time of year - we rarely get any extremes of weather here!

At the moment our bin collection still appears to be going ahead- not good as we have to put our bins out overnight for collection very early.

Just hope there's enough weight in them to stop them rolling away.

A typical cold day here in the North East of Scotland. Was windy and horizontal rain this morning, then sunshine for most of the day and the wind seems to have picked up again tonight. Nothing like South of England though.
