No CCA provided and want to make F&F offer

Hi all, I recently requested CCA's from all my creditors and a couple replied to say they did not have it. A couple have provided it and the rest have not replied. I now have a lump sum so I can afford to offer F&F settlement of around 30% of the debt value. Has anyone got any advice or template letters that could help please?
Any and all replies will be most appreciated.
Thanks

You can adapt the letter at the end of this factsheet
Factsheet | Full & Final Settlement offers
Start lower than you want to finish (hope you understand that) as there is always some negotiation on these deals.0 -
You could argue the ones with the CCAs are the most important to settle, as they could take you to court at some point. The ones without are seriously unlikely to try court, and it's easily defended.
So you could maybe look to get rid of the enforceable ones and come back to the others later?
Of the CCAs received, are they a photo copy with your signature on? If not, likely they are reconstituted and may not be correct. The creditor may not also have the original (needed for court) as most who have the original just photocopy it in my experience.
Presuming pre April 2007 accounts.:beer:0 -
Hi happy bunny, thank you for your reply, yes they are copies with my signature and all the accounts are all pre 2007.
All of the defaults have dropped off of my credit file and I continue to pay £1 token payments.
My credit score is good and I want to clear all of my debts so that I can get a mortgage but I do not want to do anything that would cause them to put anything negative on my credit report.
If I am unable to come to an agreement with some of my creditors for F&F settlement do you think it would be ok to continue to pay what I can and still apply for a mortgage?
I am worried that the outstanding debts (although not showing in my credit report) might effect my chances of getting a mortgage and also I don't know if my creditors could then come after me once they know that I am a home owner.
Again any help is greatly received.
Thanks

If they refuse the full and final, you can still pay them.
The only thing that would get it back on your report would be a CCJ, or some underhand tactics by a DCA changing the default date. Can be rectified if they change the date.
I've read on here that some? Mortgage applications ask if you any unsettled debts, even if not on your report. Maybe post on the Mortgage board for more info. Obviously, they won't see this from your report if the accounts are not on there.
If this was me, I would be settling the enforceable ones, even if at a higher percentage, as the ones without the CCAs can't do anything useful, unless they find them again (unlikely).:beer:0
