Captchas are always a right Royal pain in the a** but today when I was 'doing a daily' I had to type in the following words: SWIRLING VORTEX OF ENTROPY. That's just taking the pi**. Athough there are occasions when I have been reminded of words that I had long forgotton. eg opprobrious, recalcitrant, assiduity. Actually, now I come to think of it, maybe those captcha inventors are really just trying to extend my vocabulary......

Thanks to all of you for posting the competitions! Really appreciate it. :lovethoug

I prefer the nice captchas on the Take a break and similar click to wins which says things like select which is yellow and then you need to pick from a list eg
yellow submarine
grass
the sky
I hate hate hate typing catchas you can hardly ever read them, and if you can you get stupidly long ones like you mention. It makes me rage :mad::mad::starmod: Looking for the lucky dust :starmod:

Are you sure it wasn't the answer to a question? ie:" describe the X Factor in 4 words" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0

I don't like the number ones, I'm not a 'touch typist' so have to keep looking back at the screen. At least with words you can usually see and remember what the words are.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I've been struggling a lot recently with them, I think the ReCaptcha ones (with the red surround) have got worse. Sometimes I can't make out a lot of the letters as they're all just merged together0

If I get one that's too long or I can't read, I just keep hitting refresh on the captcha til it gives me a short one :rotfl:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
For the likes of the itv ones where it has number captchas along with a word, I only type in the word and it goes through okBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

I like adding the salad cream and dipping the penny!0

I like the ones on the daily clicks, easier to recognise a phrase than a bunch of random letters/numbers. It quite often comes up with dr who quotes - obviously programmed by geeks. I also had to laugh when the one for the Katie Price perfume prize came up as 'fishy smell' the other day!0
