Do The People Who Enter Comps On The Daily Thread Take Notice Of The Coloured Code?

Hello There,

I was just wondering if the people who enter competitions from the Daily Competitions Thread take any notice of colour coding the dates?

So when the thread is updated what every day it is there is a colour you type the date in


Added Monday ~ Black
Added Tuesday ~ Orange
Added Wednesday ~ Burgandy
Added Thursday ~ Green
Added Friday ~ Blue
Added Saturday ~ Purple
Added Sunday ~ Dark Green

I personally comp from the daily thread every day & I have not once used the colour codes

So does anyone else?

If not then it would be one less thing for the person who looks after the thread needs to do

But I'm very grateful to everyone that contributes & updates it :A

I haven't taken on the daily's well unless anyone knows something I don't :rotfl:

I was just trying to make it easy for the next person

I bookmark the dailies I'm interested in though and use the thread to find new ones by date really, so I don't use the colours much.

I don't use the colour code, I just bookmark ones I am interested in as they are added to the end of the thread.

personally i dont see the colours, because i dont use the frontpage at all, rather just the shortcut to the newest or unread post since last visit clicky

which i suspect is what a lot of ppl do judging by the comments above

BUT we are not all the same animal and im sure, altho they may not see this thread from your post on the end of the daily thread because they are the reverse type and only visit the frontpage each day, that a lot of peaople do use it and appreciate and it does seem to be a well tried and tested format over the years across many indexing threads
