How to enter & cost of entry:
To enter this Competition, answer the competition entry question stated in the Programme, via:
  • PRTS Phone - call 09041 61 9777 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line to answer the competition entry question; up to 6 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive an additional, third entry into the competition without charge (based on the same answer and details as submitted in their second call). This can be repeated to reach the 6 entries per phone number limit. Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.
  • SMS text – send a SMS text to 84066 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 6 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the competition via SMS a second time using the same mobile number. Entrants who send a second SMS text using the same mobile number with their answer to 84066 by the competition closing date and time will receive an additional, third entry into the competition without charge (based on the same answer as submitted in their second text). This process may be repeated to reach the 6 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s chargeable SMS text entries costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message. If you do not want to receive SMS marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your SMS text entry.
  • Online – go to www.itv.com, www.stv.tv or www.u.tv and follow the instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number provided.

    There is one prize consisting of:
    • Cash
      A cheque for £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) made payable in the name of the entrant only. A signature may be required upon delivery.

      Prize Provider: TalkTalk Telecom Limited, 11 Evesham Street, London, W11 4AR (Company number: 4633015).
    • Tickets to “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Premiere (the “Premiere”) for the winner and five companions plus a two night stay in London including:
      • Six tickets for the winner and five companions to attend the Premiere on Monday 11 November 2013 at Leicester Square, London (venue to be confirmed by Prize Provider).
      • Standard return rail travel for the winner and their companions from the UK mainland station nearest to each individual to London. If the winner and/or any of their companions are residents of the Channel Islands or Isle of Man, return economy flights to London will be included. Transfers between the train station/airport and the hotel (details provided below) will also be provided.
      • Hotel accommodation for two nights on Sunday 10 November 2013 and Monday 11 November 2013 for the winner and their companions at the 5* Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire hotel in Leicester Square on a room only basis based on six people sharing three twin or double rooms.

      Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

      Where any of the winner’s companions are aged under 18 years old, the companion/s must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize.

      It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

      The winner and their companions acknowledge that in the event that the Premiere does not take place as specified for any reason, the Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and no alternative prize will be provided.

      The prize excludes meals and drinks (other than those specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance and personal expenses.

    • A day trip to Paris travelling on a private jet for the winner and five companions including:
      • An overnight stay for the winner and their companions at a hotel in Luton with a rating of 4* or above (hotel to be confirmed at the time of booking) on a bed and breakfast basis based on six people sharing three twin or double rooms on the night prior to the flight to Paris.
      • Day trip to Paris including return private jet flights for the winner and their companions from Luton Airport to Paris Le-Bourget airport, catering on both flights (including various snacks and selected alcoholic and soft drinks) and return transfers from the Paris Le-Bourget airport to Paris city centre.
      • Travel insurance covering the winner and their companions for the duration of the trip to Paris subject to the restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider, Planet Earth Travel Insurance Services Limited. The full policy wording (including without limitation health restrictions) is available at www.planetearthdirect.co.uk/docs/PolicyWording.pdf. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover where they would not be covered by this insurance including without limitation for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 74 years or over.

      Please note that all passengers will be required to undergo the usual aviation security procedures prior to boarding.

      This element of the Prize must be taken before 31 August 2014 and the trip must be booked at least six weeks in advance. This element of the prize is subject to availability at the time of booking and scheduling.

      Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel in Luton for security deposit purposes.

      Where any of the winner’s companions are aged under 18 years old, the companion/s must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize.

      The winner and their companions must hold a current and valid passport, which must be valid for travel with a minimum period of 6 (six) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip.

      It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider, (ii) inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companions when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines (iii) ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to the visa entry requirements to France and (iv) ensure that the travelling party adhere to the local laws in France including but not limited to the legal age limit for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages which is 18 years or over.

      The prize excludes ground transport to and from the winner’s and their companions’ home addresses to the hotel, from the hotel to Luton airport and from Luton airport to the winner’s and their companions’ home addresses. The prize also excludes meals and drinks (other than those specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, personal expenses, and visas and vaccinations.
  • Thanks for another great comp.. i noticed in the hotel criteria the following

    As it is a 5 star any ideas on available funds needed anyone?
    I know a lot of hotels do this but no mention of amount , just in case I am lucky!

    can't find any info for UK Radison hotels - but the ones in USA require $250 per person deposit............ So maybe around £150-£250 per person for UK

    Does anyone know, would you be able to take just the cash part of the prize if you didn't want the trips etc... if you won?

  • looking at it from the fact the comp closes 7/11 and the event is 10th/11th/ Nov even if i had the cheque by then it wouldnt be cashed!! thought of that one lol. It was a thought to treat us and friends before Xmas as a freebie with no extra add ons.:D

    we would not require any winner to take up all elements of the prize should they choose not to take up a certain prize element (although we reserve the right to ask the winner to confirm this in writing).

    This comp is "time critical" so ITV call 3 times in a 3 hour period on 07/11 before moving on.
